Loss of 4% GDP by Brexit is a big hit for the country .. and can normal Joe Public tell me a benefit of Brexit I hear the same tripe by our MP’s about taking back control blah blah blah .. it winds me up that even Labour won’t say it’s a disaster when even Farage is saying it is

Brexit and all the other disastrous decisions coming home to roost .. I fear becoming ill now used to love using the train but just can’t book anything now with strikes or cancellations .. Prices of rocketed because of Brexit so now we have a weak pound .. it’s a struggle to export or import.. and don’t go for a swim in the Sea!!!! Oh and he’s paying Macron to stop the migrants… with all that money Macron is probably buying the dinghy’s and sending them over with a portion of fish n chips :):):):) it will be a struggle for the next government to get us back on an even keel they have left such a mess .. mark my words by the end of the next Labour parliament there will be louder noises about rejoining EU

There was some hype of a possible £400m buyback.. I’ve skimmed through as it’s very long but didn’t see a mention of it .. could be a big negative for the market.. but I know the market sees things that PI’s don’t .. their reading of it will be totally different…. Not sur what to expect today but like most companies results unless they are stellar they generally go down

Market likes his involvement… 6.70 is a bag for me but only 5k in here .. wish I had more now

10/12p drop incoming.. always the same .. in recent time I can say on results days only my RR shares have rocketed.. I have a few BARCS shares nice profits only blip on horizon was NIM and they dropped 10% from pre results price .. Still the market sees things that most PI’s don’t .. but got to say nothing to see here most worrying for me is the “Outside of our control “ remark.. that seems to be a get out of jail card if money is not received

Not sure about Labour making the pips squeak unless you’ve buried your head in the sand I think you will find that the pips are already squeaking with the highest tax burden since the Second World War .. However not their friends who evade their tax liabilities through off shore instruments

The good thing is Odey has only half a foot left in the door and probably never to return in the Odey Asset Management guise .. Metro is now making profit.. how much remains to be seen .. I think I will 2nd JimJam .. he and Cyber have been on this forum along time and have often had different views albeit Cybers view is generally a negative one I’ve never had the feeling they were the same person.. On wards and upwards from here I think hopefully see £1.60/£1.80 by year end

I’ve just sold my Aunts house went on the Market for 170k didn’t have a sniff .. probably needed 15k work doing on it sprucing up and new bathroom.. would have took 162k if offered.. just gone for 153k .. luckily was left to me in inheritance so I just wanted rid .. but they’ve got a bargain.. also I know that it’s not going to a landlord which I preferred
