...and then secondly to that, given that oil and gas seepages have been noticed in Morocco for centuries, would that explain why those before PRD and our neighbours CDX keep finding relatively small reservoirs?
Perhaps we're all drilling in the right places, just maybe a few hundred thousand years too late??
Just asking again.
This may well be a stupid question but I would like to know the answer if there is one.
In which of the two groups, 80% versus 11%, were the largest finds?
I only wonder as logically speaking the finds with seepages would suggest a dissipation of the original volumes? So therefor the larger hydrocarbon fields would remain trapped in their entirety, whilst continually growing?
Just asking.
PB.
Grh,
Good Post as ever.
I don't think its necessarily complication that is the concern, so possibly wrong tree there, but more of a case of what's believable, particularly given some of tbe numbers quoted and the history of small AIMish listed companies.
After all should anyone be mocked for asking questions?
Who can blame anyone for a little cynicism?
PB
Zeus,
So, my take away from your post is that our Man@Prd has basically released a RNS resulting in a drop in share price, whilst shrugging his shoulders and concluding that any shareholders selling out at a loss, is a F****** Ret**** and deserves to lose their investment?
Again a bit strong maybe, but essentially so??
For the avoidance of doubt, regarding my motivation, I've averaged down quite heavily .
Regards, PB.
GRH,
That was indeed a bit too strong on my part.
Clearly nerves getting the better of me.
So my apologies.
Regards,
PB.
But to put it into further perspective, Asda and Sainsburys turnover is more than £50 per week per store.
...ask any questions today then, eh?
obstando,
Cya for now.
Enjoy your echo guys!
Fast-ted,
Thank you, I completely agree with your assessment.
I was beginning to think that maybe I was missing something, but essentially, as you quite rightly point out, Zoe are effectively into a bun fight. So any doubts I had regards adding to my holding have been confirmed, so I’ll hold what I have, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
Thanks again, and good luck everyone.
I’m almost afraid to fully imagine where this delicious little nugget of a company will be in three years time!
Thank you for your response on the "barriers" thread.
I'm not long back home from Canada right now and it would be fair to say that that country is awash with the "same same, but different" products as Zoetic's. Similar price points, packaging, blurb, and all the other stuff that doesn't really add too much value. Certainly not value that can't be copied or improved upon anyway.
I was recommended ZOE by a Doctor friend of mine back last November December. Perfectly sensible fella but tends to lose any semblance of rational behaviour when discussing this company! Strange to watch but good fun all the same. I think it'd be fair to say he has a lot invested in here.
At the time the price was around 70 odd pence and I couldn't see any value other than a punt at that stage. So I sat out and watched the price rise to about a quid, then of course down to the mid 40's.
It was during this time we had the announcement of the Chill.com domain name which I agree with you both (albeit unintentionally on your part I'm sure) is Zoetics only tangible, although excellent, USP. I was then at the same time fortunate enough (all relative of course) to buy in at 46p, believing if nothing else that the combination of the domain name and the white noise of mindless ramping that accompanies such stocks, (nothing personal just my observation you understand, everyone can get as excited and as defensive as you like. Particularly now that I'm invested) offered the probability of at least a doubling of my investment in fairly short order.
So thanks again for your input, much appreciated.
Can you define the niche with which you believe to be difficult for our competitors to replicate?
They don't answer this particular question, unfortunately.
What
are
your
thought
on
barriers
to
entry?
Is that better??
doesn't answer the question though, does it?
Early experience of you guys kicking off in defence of ZOE is, in my experience, just as bad as the aggression you find on Twitter.
Better?
I hold about 5% of my pension in ZOE and in the process of consolidating my portfolio into fewer holdings, I've come up against a nagging doubt against increasing my holdings here, mainly due to the relatively low barriers to entry.
Any thoughts?
Lionalkipper,
Hi.
Nah, far too aggressive for my liking.
However, early experience of you Piranhas kicking off .......
:0))
What a combination.
Calm down fella's, it's only money.
Maybe try some product, eh?
;o))
Craigy2205,
I have to confess, compared to some other boards I read, I'm struggling to amass a surplus of preferred posters here.
;o))
