RE: Gusamo10 Jan 2023 15:47
He's been problem numero uno from the very beginning, so be nice if Andy can get this over the line,
before he becomes, an even bigger pain in the ****
Elections are soon, date to be confirmed, last said before May, when he stood back from the Presidential
election, to support Independent Horta, the plan was that he would look to run for Prime Minister instead.
Horta reciprocating, by placing Gusmao in charge of Tasi Mane, a project he instigated, while in office.
That's a big if also, PM Rauk and the Minister, have reduced expectations on Oil and Gas, fees and taxes
from the ridiculously high rates Gusmao wanted originally. Those measures to try to encourage others
to join in the bid round. Which pretty much failed, with only really , ENI and Santos (Bayu ops) taking
extra in the area they already operate in.
Who could he get to replace them ?, with an Oliver remit, I want more, when the Industry just starting
to get interested again, with prospects of developments onshore and a second Darwin pipeline, being
planned by Santos/ENI JV for more assets in the Timor Sea and Carbon Capture at their own Bayu site.
Both plans rejected in the past for Darwin and FLNG, wanting all to Timor, were under their tenure.
We could have the demonic duo, getting the band back together by May , Gusmao PM , Horta President
