RE: Woodside12 Jan 2023 18:58
Still have an inkling , with them splitting the Import facility away from the South Coast project,
to the combined PIT in the North near the capital at Metinaro, they have already decided, it's no
longer being supplied by Beaco in the South from Sunrise (whenever last tender by 2030). Which
begs the question, is it us with our partner the local NOC (mates rates) , someone has to supply
it, a lot earlier than 2030.
FID for the PIT is labelled as 2023, Boil have an FLNG plan for 2028 but as has been said many
times by many posters, a Major or Tier1, taking us out could do it a lot quicker, fast tracking
multiple wells, to fit with Timors plans for Gas powered, electrical supply by 2025, which has
also probably slipped slightly 25/26?
That plan was for completion by 2025, so conversion of the three stations , probably 2024/25
who knows, maybe Woodside will take it as a sweetener, as part of a package deal, for the
two plans.
Santos, still talking new pipeline to Darwin, with the old pipe as the return for carbon capture
to Bayu, with Barossa benched by the courts, they have to be actively looking for a new home
for their HUB and pipeline.
