Timor Leste traditionally , full Cabinet (council of ministers) meetings Wednesday, since Gusmao took over, his first couple on Tuesday, since reverted to Wednesday. Has been no meeting published on the Gov website this week, in the past, when delayed (rare) or an additional emergency meeting (covid/super storms etc) have been held on Friday, what is the delay ? could it be something funding related, to those, LH NGO accelerated Australia/TL Sunrise talks being held for the new Natarbora site project ? replacing the 20 year Beaco plan, according to the local NGO.

Or even us, after yesterdays meeting, official backing for our FPSO plan, with perhaps a side order of Gas/LNG Imports Metinaro FID 🤔😉

Normally I would agree Filthy, the TL side have got carried away with themselves many times over the years, on this occasion, I think perhaps not, the 10 billion is conservative, we are 3.5 tcf with much upside (shell 1990's) , Sunrise 5 tcf plus 240mb condensate, they (tl) have talked about as 38 billion to tl, so figure seems a bit low and probably, spoken to him in the brief, not him plucked out of the air, in this case probably our Directors, keeping the figures sensible, not top end potential, if all goes 100% perfect (little ever does) 🤔

That's the Gas/LNG Export terminal and the Gas/LNG Imports terminal projects, news progress on either can only be good for Boil/SG, either gives Chuditch a home to go to , that will be acceptable to the freedom fighting rulers, to the Island by pipe (eventually) , or supply the Island by FPSO much sooner.... 😉🤔

Yes to Shell/conoco/woodside 2003 commence production at Darwin, would have seen around an extra 20-25 billion in their SPW Fund, which could have paid to build the facilities themselves, processed Kelp and Chuditch for more billions and per the TL strategic plan 2011-2030 paid for and developed all the other sectors for , beyond oil and gas.

Its no secret , all want more gas, China last year after a new monster deal 67 Million tons Gas/LNG per year with the USA, said still looking for another 20m tpa, for the next 10-15 years, just to cope with current rising demands in China, thats still 5 x Sunrise (shell 26/28 well plan FLNG 2008 was 4mtpa)

Japan paid 50 billion to its major players , to go out and secure supplies for the next 20 years and more recently, signed an Mou with Woodside through its Gov Bank, with all Japanese companies available to support them if required (inpex etc)

Santos/ENI/Koreans, JV to acquire and develop more Timor Sea assets (Indonesia/TL/OZ)

Australia itself predicting massive increases of production/development required over the next few years, again just to keep up with current rising demand, yet the new Government after asking for it, now hindering it actually being done ffs

keep our own carbon footprint down measures, someone ought to slap Albanese with a can't make omelettes, without breaking eggs reality check. 🤔🙄

Instead of tying their hands, how about giving more support to OZ companies developing carbon capture facilities, at least 4 on the mainland and of course Bayu in the Timor Sea to be developed and increased over time, funds now would make all happen sooner, then the increased production he wants can be done with little impact to the environment, all wastes, going underground/under the sea.
