Except, the driver I am talking about is ruble devaluation. Putin wants to back it with gold, and the only way he can do that is by artifically crashing the POG with compulsory purchases. This would be the Gordon Brown low on steroids! This would've been an isolate event, but for the backroom gas deals between some EU countries and Russia. If there are trade loopholes between Russia and the EU (as reported), then the value of reduced gold value (in rubles) will eventually get transferred to foreign markets via forex.

I haven't done proper TA on it yet, but current & recent events and agendas suggest to me that gold is going to take a major tumble soon. Great Western Mining better pull their fingers out and level up any production they are doing, because high price may not last that long. There's plenty of potential labour out there, a glut in fact, so no excuses for not getting the work done right when it needs to be done. Get recruiting NOW ffs !!!

In case you didn't get it, I expect gold to crash, maybe into the 12-1300s. This is based on TA patterns since the 1970s, central bank agendas and financial actions taken by sanctioned world-leaders to prop-up their currencies.

Watch out because Putin is buying gold (undercuts market - 'cause he's a thug) to support his currency.
He's doing this because all he sees from the west are targets for his nuclear subs at sea.
All that would be left in the apocalyse would be gold and few other commodities.
However, if sanctions and boycotts are effective, the ruble will be in trouble and his country will turn into rubble.
Putin's people will be forced to liquidate ill-gotten gains (eg. yachts) as the screws tighten, leading to in-fighting.
Hopefully the people will awaken as their country becomes shaken.
News of their fallen soldiers is already stirring up Russia's backers of the new Stalin.
It's only a matter of time before Putin pays for his crimes.
