I know nothing about waterflood but I was surprised to see the water was injected into the Spergen. If Cogcc is correct and it usually is I thought we would see that Snowbird 16-15 was injecting into the Cherokee by now and that Blackcomb12-14 was also injecting into the Cherokee. The Cherokee is below the Spergen so perhaps since oil is lighter than water the oil will be forced or displaced to a higher level such as the Spergen where Hawks oil wells are. It would be nice to be told something by the company.

Snowbird 9-15 has produced high water amounts historically. At face value the injection wells have not been used for injection for two months. I suppose it is another company secret. Is the 1,000,000 share buyer about again?

I see both injection wells are down as injecting for zero days as in December. Both produced water. I wonder if it is checked for oil or is it simply injected water returning immediately to the surface?

I do agree that both injection wells in the water flood area injected no water in December 2017. It would be odd if this was due to workovers as it would be prudent to keep one injecting whilst the other was being worked on. Interestingly I notice that the Arikaree Creek SWD also injected for zero days in December so there might be a simple explanation for what is going on.

Do not know about the pressure of well column.

Snowbird 16-15 produced 40,945 barrels of water in December 2017. Blackcomb 12-11 produced 34,395 barrels of water in December 2017. These are the two injection wells in the water flood area. The three oil producing wells in the water flood area : Blackcomb 5-14, Blackcomb 3-14 and Snowbird 9-15 produced 5491,3522 and 14997 barrels of water respectively for November 2017. These figures used because no water figures for December. So adding 75,340 for the injection wells and 14,010 for the water food oil wells we have 89,350 barrels of water produced each month in the water food area. This could be compared to 3,300 barrels of water injected each day (the max. proposed) or for 31 days of December 102,300 barrels of water. Most of the water is returning to the surface via the two injection wells. Is it actually being absorbed into the rocks? If not water flood would take many years to work.

I cannot get into Cogcc to check the figures. It did surprise me to see a figure for December. It is high but the previous months were high also. I have not been checking water production at the injection wells so will have to look at the other injection well also. Need to check it out when Cogcc back up.

I see what you are saying. They have started working on the Cherokee. I presume they have been injecting into Spergen for the past year. This well used to produce in the Cherokee and Marmaton. The well cannot inject at one formation and produce oil from another so they are going to inject in the Cherokee or inject in both Spergen and Cherokee (tricky) or they are going to try and produce from the Cherokee again (very unlikely). Take your choice or make up your own. It would suggest water flood is not working for them to need to change things after 1 year. I notice appox. 41000 barrels of water were produced for Dec 2017 at this well!

A few wells showing as shut in on Cogis the most interesting being Snowbird 16-15, one of the waterflood injection wells. Perhaps more oil will be produced now that the water is not forcing it out of Arikaree Creek! Grand Mesa is filling its boots north east of Arikaree Creek and south west of Keystone. Shows the area is full of opportunities for the right company.

I notice that no figures are given for water produced during December. Would be interesting to see them. Perhaps they have stopped injecting water. Thank heavens the northern water flood was not instigated last year _ 37,000 barrels of oil would have been lost as it was to be an injector well. Perhaps the Knutson's were well informed. I see we get no information about well pressures and gas to water ratios anymore.

Appears less water being produced which could mean less water being injected. Could indicate down days for waterflood wells. Knutson family must be glad they never allowed water flood in their Arikaree Creek wells. Waterflood now one year old!

Many companies have leases in Washington County, Hawk is just one of them. The permit requests show Grand Mesa to be an active company with the money to drill as compared to Hawk. The same applies to Lincoln County.

Do not forget that we voted and approved on a Rule 9 waiver in RNS dated 15 March 2017 at the general meeting on 5 April 2017. It might be worthwhile remembering that Johan Claesson has moved shares around his family holdings at this time of year previously as described in RNS dated 15 January 2016.

Happy New Year. I do not think they are being disbanded but I think they should be. If you do not trust your in house team to produce results on your own wells then there is something wrong. If you have a high wage bill and need to raise cash then it is a no brainer. I do not think the present team will or should be allowed to drill again. Rick should cut costs now and sell the company. But he will not. This will be strung out for as long as possible.

Nice to see someone get a reply. The management wants to draw a veil over what is happening with production and waterflood and their silly attempts to highlight early signs of waterflood working. Of course most shareholders are separated by an ocean from what is going on and they rely on that. They do not bother to inform why another company is operating a Hawk lease and whether the in house team is being disbanded.

I wish JC 2-2 was being operated by another company but I am afraid it is Nighthawk and they will only be trying to improve oil production, if anything. My thoughts on Cogcc updates is that the Hawk management wants to veto information outflow to shareholders so they cannot see what a mess is being made of the company. The driving force for management is the maintenance of the gravy train for the incompetent workforce. This is not going to change. I think the major shareholder should have done something whilst he was on the BOD.

Taken from RNS dated 17th July 2014 : " The John Craig 2-2 well encountered a Pennsylvanian gas condensate discovery. The well was put on test and under natural flow produced natural gas with a liquids content at pressures that were higher than those usually encountered in this area of the Denver-Julesberg basin. The volume of natural gas produced by the well on test was significant with flow rates consistently exceeding 4 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. The well also encountered an oil-bearing lower Morrow pay-zone and now testing of the gas condensate discovery has been completed, this zone is currently being completed for production". That was followed by : " Work is currently underway to evaluate the options for commercial development of the gas condensate discovery and to evaluate the potential reserves". These were the days of Mr. Gutteridge who commented : " The gas condensate discovery in the John Craig 2-2 well is intriguing with very good flow rates, but will clearly require additional investment to commercially produce the discovery, and there are a number of options to evaluate before any final decisions are made". John Craig 2-2 is currently shut in and is hopefully being worked on. Never did produce much oil. Why did the company not get people who knew what they are doing such as Wiepking- Fullerton who produce gas in many nearby wells? The company has never acknowledged questions on the subject since 2014. Another person the company could do without is the person who responds to questions via the website.
