The current thinking at Sound with regards to Sidi Moktar is "we will announce our strategy on Sidi when and if we sign the current Eastern Morocco deal". They will keep investors on the hook until after the deed is done. Don't be fooled. They monitor these boards. They have always and will always use what they learn. If you speculate on the riches to be extracted from Sidi they will see a way to use it. It is sad that a company is working in its own interests and not that of its shareholders. Sidi is a wipe out. The farm in is not going to occur. If you ask a question at the FSC the geologist will be evasive. Hiding under the shroud of confidentiality that now covers the company. James has gone. But the farce will be held in place by those that remain. Soon they might find themselves caught up and implicated. Exciting times.

Mr Ducati, you are being too hard on yourself. I am sure you did research and made an informed decision. But as well, part of your thinking would have been: this guy is a CEO and well versed in oil and gas. He knows what he is talking about. That's why on the Sound website they tell you about his experience and previous employers. Shell. Wow. So when you see videos where he says you can't lose, and will probably make money you will be swayed. Simply saying I was the person pressing the buy button is not good enough. If Sound sold shares over the phone in that manner the authorities might call it boiler room selling. There might be a case to answer. You cannot remove the evidence, mislead, and walk away. But , I suppose you could try.

It starts again. Let's wait until the FSC and see what the Sound management has to say. I think we might hear something to our advantage. The share price is certain to rise as the true value of our investment is revealed.

No coup has occurred today. There has been a game of musical chairs. The same team are in place with the intention of getting the "agreement " over the line. Mr Parsons is hanging about and will leave at roughly the same time as he was always going to leave. He and Marco will try to get the same outcome as they have been trying to get for the last few months. The switch around is merely a releasing of some of the pressure of the last week. It is in the best interests of the scheme to form the JV. Like it or not.

That's part of the problem. If you have been told that Mr Marco will not be as sympathetic or independent as the temporary chairman then something's wrong. Whoever is in the position has a responsibility to the company and shareholders. If he has been put in position as part of a conspiracy, and you know about it, then authorities should be told. Are you listening compliance? Under the new regime the men in blue might come a knocking, Mr Crudehope.

I think the company was interviewing two weeks ago. One applicant only. I heard he filled up on mince pies and biscuits and left. Complained about the tea on offer.

It has been said before. Many people would be better off if imminent bankruptcy had gone through. I don't think it can be justified that he saved previous shareholders when considering the predicament current shareholders are in. The carnage is on a far greater scale.

Sound Energy must pay the FEED consortium$2.2 million if it breaks free of the agreement. Just one of many little costs, along with remuneration for the leaving dignitaries of BOD. It is no wonder " cash and cash equivalents" was removed from quarterly updates and no reply to email. The $14million in May and the $3million cash raise is going to be whittled away and management are doing everything to keep it behind closed doors. Exciting times.

Simply putting a cash value on the remaining Sound percentage if the JV partner wanted to be rid of Sound in the future. I agree with what you say though.

If the JV partner buys the the 9% option at the same proportional financial consideration he would pay $41.6 million or £33million. That's worth 3p/share. Pro rata that would give $66.2million(£53 milloin) for the remaining 14.3% or 5p share.

When considering why we sell the extra 9%, numbers are important. In the initial tranche the company sells 51% (24.2% of 47.5%) of the Eastern Morocco portfolio to the joint venture partner. The JV partner has overall control. The second tranche of 9% , apart from being a steal, reduces the Sound Energy share of the joint venture to below 30% and with it we lose more rights. The JV partner then becomes the largest holder in the Eastern Morocco portfolio and the majority partner in the JV.
