What exactly does Simon Potter and the rrest of the BOD need a couple of million to live on?
They just need to pay rent in Bahamas, potters smaller salary and that's it. Where has the money gone?

Nothing is happening because the BG does not appear to be proactive. Look at the Oban oil refinery deal. that's not settled yet. The Disney deal isn't finalized. Nothing gets finalized in the Bahamas.
However, BPC now has yet another extension. The extension confirmation effectively gives BPC a clear two-year window in which to complete everything required for the drilling of a first exploratory well in waters south-west of Andros, near the maritime border with Cuba.
It provides BPC and any joint venture partner - especially in a business reliant on government regulation and approvals - with the certainty and clarity they crave to proceed with their plans, knowing that the “rules of the game” have now been set.
BPC and the government must also work together to develop a two-year “road map”, or work schedule, setting out how all technical and environmental issues likely to be encountered on the way to that first exploratory well will be dealt with.
This includes BPC obtaining all required “environmental authorisations”.
So that's why there is no RNS and subject to BPC gaining the necessary "environmental authorisations" there will not be a positive RNS in the near future.

Because there is not a lot of confidence in Jeremy Asher, particularly from LTH after the 'glowing in the dark' scandal.
TRP will have to get a farmin,and get a drill date to incite buying in this share.

Hi Tomsharepicks, yes, you are right. even though I said I wouldn't put another penny in this stock, I, as a LTH, had to either pay my broke 45 quid to sell the 99% down 500 shares I had or buy more to put some value in it. So I had 480 shares (cost 5000 GBP thereabouts) and now I have 40,480 shares (bought 40,000 at 1.10 today). If the shares climb to 11p I'll be at break even (my goal). GLA to the LTH.

Yes, i bought some more today as i couldn't sell my 5000 GBP holding as it was only worth 8 pence !
Now if it it gets to 11 pence I'll be at break even. At least I will be able to sell even if it goes to 2 pence !

David & Monique Newlands have increased their shareholding according to the yesterday's RNS. Have they heard something?

Has it occurred to anyone that the delay in BPC is because the Major is waiting for Brexit?
Is Brexit happening because UK oil and resource companies have found something huge and don't want to share it with Europe?
Any thoughts?

I now reckon that Simon Potter has more chance of poking half a pound of butter into a tigers ear with a red-hot needle than getting any oil. I hope he can prove me wrong and make us PIs the money promised.

We are seeing the US try and control Venezuela by inserting their own man as interim president and calling the elected incumbent a dictator. The BG is very much in league with US after its independence from the UK in 1973.
For example, the US Navy has the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center on Andros island. The US Navy has the Weapons Range, the Acoustic Range, and the FORACS Range. Does this stop anyone drilling in Bahamas waters? I expect the US pays rent for Andros island. The Bahamas obtains nearly all its food and manufactured items from the US. US Aid has been generous, together with 6 million tourists from the US.
