The potential value of SNG has not changed despite the poor sprinter read out. If they can convince USA to stockpile then the company will achieve its true potential (£1bn valuation as an absolute minimum), whether that's on the back of deep dive / P3 combined with activ-2 P2 data / a new platform trial. The question is how long will it take to get to that point, and who can remain patient in the meantime

As much as I've always had faith in RM, I agree that we do deserve a verbal update from him to explain/set out/suggest the next steps. I hope the silence means they're working on something positive in the background but don't want to get hopes up unless it's nailed on, but that's just the optimist in me

sorry - fill or kill order. Instruction to your broker when the markets are closed to fulfil a buy or sell order at a certain price, otherwise the order is 'killed'. Could be used by poly to say I want to sell 100,000 shares for 11p as soon as the markets open please.

Given polygon's buying activity has been fairly ferocious since the precipitous drop to 11p within the first few minutes of trading on Monday, it's got me thinking - did polygon cause this dramatic dip in SP themselves? Anyone could have predicted it would go into auction off the back of a results RNS, and poly have certainly got enough shares to log a sizeable kill order before 8am at a super low share price (e.g. 11p), with the MM's obliging and setting the floor at this low level.

Why would anyone else set a kill order this low, it doesn't make sense for anyone else as surely nobody is in profit at these levels.

Maybe poly's buying activity since Monday morning hasn't been to average down in response to the news - maybe they've used the news as an opportunity to bag even more shares for bargain basement prices. Proactive rather than reactive. If so this would suggest they still see good value for their investment here, rather than damage limitation. We've certainly seen in the past that they've been very good at keeping the share price down while they've been accumulating; I'd suggest they know how to play this game.

Well, we made it to 16:30 and the close of what has been the most disappointing and heart breaking day on the markets that many of us will ever experience. So many of us believed in the science, the success of previous trials, and the way that RM and co were positioning the company moving forward. Everything stacked up and we had confidence to invest fistful of cash after fistful of cash. But then this morning happened, and our worlds were turned upside down when the price hit 11p.

But we've made it through the day. Everyone who has held onto their shares, fair play to you and I really hope that it's onwards and upwards from here. Everyone who has sold up today, fair play to you as well and I hope that you can put this mess behind you and move on with your lives from here. But anyone who has been on here today to say I told you so, frankly you can go duck yourselves in your ducking *******s.

We can all rebuild from here. A troll though will always be a low life troll.

I'll be there and will bring 4 bottles of wine along for the ride, still can't believe what's happened today, the dream is over. Keep smiling though everyone and just remember that whatever you did, you had the best intentions for you and your families - all the signs were there that this gamble was going to pay off, so don't blame yourselves
