Thanks just wondering why after nearly 15 yrs of inactivity it states Application is active today.
Fees still being paid. Know very little about patents, just curious.

The new Apple tv interface patent.
The patent was originally filed on 1 May 2014, as a continuation of an application filed on 12 December 2013.
The first named inventor is Greg Christie,

As we are aware MTV have no patents for their one stop shop interface...
Tablet tv launched Dec 2014...with the app in the Apple store...an app with the same interface that Apple have just applied for a patent for.
Now surely MTV know about Apple and surely Apple know about MTV? Am i getting confused or is this correct.

The reports i have read regarding "offline" state via downloads...

I would obviously love some connection with this, but ....cant be the app, i,m sure Apple can develop their own....MTV developed it to control the content from Content Express solutions. i would love Apple to be using CE ...but my understanding is this needs a server (tv station,,,ie granite broadcasting)....Apple are launching in 100 countries by autumn....surely not possible with CE....only internet would let you do this.
This is just my opinion....someone say i am wrong please.

Hi Jjj. Sorry I should not jump to conclusions. One reporter said he imagines Apple will be controlling the pipe...internet.
Just seems like a streaming service with an updated app. I'm no techie..that's why opinions are always gratefully recieved.

The one stop shop app? Something mtv were developing...could see the need when used in conjunction with Content Express solutions.

My understanding is Content express solutions was launched Jan 2014....No takers at time of administration. Siyaya being the first which failed.
Now 5 years later we potentially could have two at the same time?
Have they been developing in the background....with the help of "other engineers".
Am i correct in my thoughts? This is all conjecture....but feasible?
