The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Well DS, I take it that last post was directed at shareholders and not Demir.
Yes I agree we have not been told everything.
How do you build up a licence area of 20 prospecting licences(possible 22) if you tell the whole mining industry what it is that you have found.
The Prof is 90 years old...you learn a thing or two in those years. He wants to announce a major world class gold discovery, put Ireland on the gold producing map.
A poxy 600,000 ozs does not meet his needs.
The gold is going nowhere....
Demir have had a good long look...they're still here.
Not only are they still here, I would suggest they are over spending on phase 1?
Obviously see the potential....one day so will the market. I can wait for that day....no rush.
Tetra Tech Wardrop has recommended that in view of the positive outcome of the
technical and financial studies that infill and step-out drilling on strike together with
metallurgical studies be carried out with a view to progressing the project towards
-pre-feasibility and definitive feasibility stages and that the potential for a multi deposit
strategy is worthy of further evaluation.
Multi deposit strategy?
Dunraymond, the site of current drilling (4th Sept RNS) is in PL3028.
Environmental screening application dated 21st June to cover 0.8sqkm.
Rns states anomaly 550 x600m.
Clontibret is on the back burner because their aim has been completed on this target. It's an overall assessment...we know this will be one target carried forward to phase 2.
Clay Lake is the puzzler, don't know what's happening there....but feel it's going to be good news when we are informed.
I find it intriguing as to why all of a sudden PL1356/57 are now available....if the JV were looking for more acreage it would be that location.
It's usually a 6 year hold yet been released after 4?
Seems like a fortuous coincidence!?
Sunday Roast site visit in October?
The Prof attending Mines and Money end of November.
End of year results end of November.
Recent investors uptake of shares tied in until 12th Dec.
8 months for a 2000m ,8 hole drill programme.
Other exploration ongoing and more planned.
I'm really intrigued as to why the silence...but I bet its hurting the Prof more than us....
The clay Lake step out drilling was extending towards where the Clay Lake nugget was found.....
Just saying...have they hit the jackpot!
Absolutely feeling relaxed...and very curious.
In the Creenkill gold target, four anomalous gold areas have been identified, two to the south of the exciting quartz breccia discovery, which returned values up to 123.0 g/t Au (announced by the Company on 22 February 2023) and the other two up strike 250m to the Northeast and 400m down strike to the Southwest from the quartz breccia. A further DOB sampling programme is planned to extend the current coverage of DOB sampling to the Northeast. Drilling is ongoing at Creenkill.
In Dunraymond, which lies within the Glenish gold target, and where the anomalous gold value of 447 ppb Au was discovered, the programme has identified a consistently anomalous gold area covering 550m by 600m. Follow up drilling is underway.
In Rackwallace, the sampling has extended the Rackwallace gold anomaly 180 metres to the Southwest. The gold anomaly still remains open to the South. Follow up drilling is planned.
In Rockcorry, a highly anomalous gold target area, measuring 700 metres by 350 metres has been defined. The anomaly is still open to the Northwest and Southeast. Follow up drilling is planned.
In Avalbane, an anomalous gold target measuring 200 metres by 180 metres, was defined by the deep overburden sampling programme. Follow up drilling is planned.
No evidence as yet that these have started through the Environmental Screening site...probably means Phase one is going to drag on for a while yet.
Because this is something bigger than a single mine.
Why engage a major at that point to develop a single mine and accept 10%?
Listen to the Prof.. its not hard to understand the reasoning.
It's just hard being patient.
The gold flotation recovery, at 90 per cent, is higher than assumed in theScoping Study. This is most encouraging both technically and financially.
The results also indicate an 8 per cent sulphur grade in concentrate whereas inthe Scoping Study a grade of 12 per cent had been assumed. The lower sulphurgrade in the concentrate is highly advantageous as it will reduce process operating costs.
