"Cancer treatment developer Antisoma (ASM) reported a loss after tax in the six months to 31st December of 18.3 million pounds, more than triple that of the previous year. No revenues were reported, compared to 5.5 million pounds in 2008. Cash at the end of the period was 49.6 million pounds, down from 52.7 million pounds six months earlier The firm said that it has two drugs that are well into Phase III trials, and success in either drug would allow the company to move into product commercialisation and begin generating recurring revenues. Charles Stanley said that the update showed that progress s being maintained as expected. It held to its 'buy' stance and 43p target price. Antisoma shares fell by 1p to 35.5p."

Key points: * Increased production at its Caijiaying Zinc/Gold Mine. * Mine development and stope preparation below the 1300 level is now underway - extraction expected later this quarter. * Upgrade of the processing plant and tailings dams continues. Chairman, commented: "The operating performance of the Caijiaying mine continues to improve and we look forward to even better results as the next levels of the mine are accessed and the plant upgrade is completed."

I would be sorely tempted, to offload about a third, if we were to head into the 50s. Ah the 50s - music to my ears!

I sold half my holding on the spike the other day – as I wanted to release funds to take advantage of recent dips in miners/oilers. However, holding the remainder, still hoping for that £2 breach. ATB

As long as the gold price, holds, or hopefully moves upwards, CLF is in a reasonably strong position. ATB
