Interesting – today, so many other AIM situations on the rise, whilst VOG still vegetates, for now – therein lies the frustrations, but ultimate rewards.

The share price is in “silly-billy territory” with exaggerated swings – obviously a portent for the more savvy.

Been watching for a while - time to step in? My reticent streak - due to "fingers burned" in the past -suggests let us linger a little longer.

It seems mainly only to function as a repository for sad folks who constantly want to relive broken dreams as a salve. That is hardly a satisfactory investment strategy.
If folks find this approach as some sort of catharsis or comfort – OK.
However, I for one, have lots of better things to do within my financial policies, and I would suggest that it is a more enlightened approach and experience.
Interestingly, and perhaps symbolically, I and those of a similar vein, often come in for varied and mindless flak.

I fairly sure that your “ramper label” isn’t attached to me.
However, all this troll-ramper-deramper-rhetoric is not becoming, nor, constructive - there has been much, too much, over the years.
My hope was that this BB could return to reasonable discussion – ignoring those who frequently return with an “unsharpened axe to grind” – it actually has, if one sets aside the detrimental incidents of those, long gone, who sadly got their fingers burnt, but think that they must disrupt any contemporary thought.
Anyway, sitting on the sidelines: I hope for sensible discussion; less frequent disruption from past holders with no real contribution; but most of all……… well you know my present – hopefully increasing – position.

Your comment about HTHP wells – whether on, or offshore – is spot on, they can be a SOB.
We drilled a well off Great Yarmouth, one time – it was neither high temp, nor high pressure, but it “bubbled” all the time [flow checked a total of an hour and an half every time when we POOH] - that one took us 9 months to drill to cased TD
Keep up the good informative posting – I have recently increased my holding again, as the potential must be realised at some stage, but if not, still holding back a significant amount, to “play” or put elsewhere, if necessary.

I have a certain amount, at present – I’ll say that – however, folks are better focusing on their own investments rather than those of others.

Mainly because, at that time, I did not have a significant holding - as was indicated by my dearth of posts.
