Talk of a deal with a major pharm co. for one of its drugs. Investec securities - upgades to a "buy" Says hopeful AZM would unveil a partnering deal for its obesity treatment Cetilistat.

Yeah, you are probably correct - 600K - but, of course, value only around £37K. I was just pleasantly surprised - I bought into this sleeper around 2 years ago at about 18p [only £10K] - so it's just been dormant in my portfolio - certainly over the last year - almost cleared them out in my spring clean at the beginning of the year. I hold on for a while yet - just to see what develops. Their "green gizmo" might be worth a bit in the present climate [change :)] However, all said and done, I don't expect too much! ATB

I see I.C. are still tipping as a buy. The chief executive says his confidence is "higher than ever" and that the co. will be announcing a couple of deals soon. They also have enough cash for next 2 years. May well hang on a little longer.

Yeah, this share will only drift until we hear, or rummours start to appear - then it will fly or die!

Hi. I was in, long before all the various downturns. That is why I thought that I'd hang on, for a little while, with this recent positive talk. But it seems to have stalled for now :( I've not a lot of money here, but hey, none of us wishes to take a negative outcome. Hope you also haven't staked TOO much! ATB

I certainly hope that Darling Al, [or Al Caput] thinks better of imposing a windfall tax! We await Wednesday with interest. If he sees the light, and can uproot his socialist tendencies, then we may well see a bounce here. If not energy, is energy, is energy…we all need it, or the lights will be turned off for good [or perhaps, that is “bad”] ATB

I’m in on AZM @ just over £1 [around 3 years ago] So I’m sitting it out for now. The share spent a lot of time oscillating there for a while when I was in reasonable profit, once or twice. Then it started its sad decline. I’m sitting on my hands for now. I’ve only got £10K in here, so I can wait to see how things pan out. ATB

I was just looking at my Barclays [online] resources. They have it - as "neutral" by one broker - and as "strong buy" by another, and suggest their source as being "JCF Factset" ATB Certainly a good upward move today!

Sold last week @ 55p. Back in £30K @ 52.75p. There has got to be plenty slack here for some upward movement!
