Hi I've posted various responses re: DonAce, before the blessed - albeit short-lived hiatus, [that we mostly, all enjoyed], when he was banned from this site. Regrettably, the phoenix has raised its ugly head, yet again! The only slight problem is that he does – somewhat intermittently –speak some sense. Unfortunately the self-proclaimed oracle often comes across as an orifice towards the lower end! I have suggested, last year, that some sort of syndrome may well be involved, and that compassion, rather than conflict, may well be the best response. However, at times, my innate response is: “patience my ass", I really need to kill somebody – guess who? ATB Good investing, in these rather turbulent times [irrespective of D.A.!] PS In the 50/60s – not knowing your vintage - DA was the acronym for a “Duck’s Arse” - ring any bells!!??

Those who have held on have done well so far :) I made a good profit getting out at 79.8p - so waiting for the next dip to get back in. ATB PS Made lots here, over the piece, taking profits when appropriate! This is an excellent punt!

Had a quick scout-around. GEX has a fairly small market cap. - £19.4m. May be potential here, but now-a-days with the market the way it is, I tend to buy in blocks of shares - anywhere between £50K-£100K - make some reasonable profit, get out, then hang on the sidelines and wait to get in again on any dips, if I think the value is still there. I'm looking around at a few potential candidates, right now. So I'll keep my options open. ATB PS The blocks of shares that I'm speaking about can be built up over smaller increments, i.e £10K at a time over a day or so, and then sold off, in similar fashion, when in profit - so I'm always open to suggestons.

I can only presume that - if the deal will go through i.e 42p plus 6.9p [Paion]- then there will be a slight uplift on present SP. Personally, I'm gone @ 37.2p and investing elsewhere ATB The Blue

SKP faces the prospect of having its £70m convertible debt put up for repayment. Glad I got out @ 12.25p a couple of weeks back - albeit it for a £10K loss. ATB for those still in.

I.C. has a pretty candid report re: CEN deal, and is also very bearish about much of the biotech sector!

Sold @ 37.2p for a loss. No use hanging on any longer! ATB

I am at a loss as to why CEN SP has not moved more towards the deal price of 48.9p

From memory - I think that the IC is still backing their original tip, a while back [@ 104p) as a "BUY" Any slight dip and I will, most certainly, be back in. Good positive outlook [A slowdown in China = the only slight possible worry!]

Shares in cancer drug developer Antisoma (ASM) surged 2.25p to 27.25p after it revealed its key drug in development for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, ASA404, has begun phase III trials. Glyn Edwards, Antisoma's CEO, said the move puts the drug on "a clear path towards potential marketing applications." Novartis, with whom Antisoma is partnered with, will be responsible for carrying out the trials and is now due to pay Antisoma a milestone payment of 25 million dollars. Seymour Pierce said it believes the shares look cheap, with cash on the balance sheet of around 65 million pounds. It reiterated its 'buy' stance for the shares.

This is more like it. The broker recommendations are also very positive. :)

As far as I read it – the CEN board has accepted the offer, although it is not in the bag yet. They are running short of cash, however it is a derisory offer, in my eyes. As far as investing more money – that would not be my game-plan, I’ve had enough angst with share already. I don’t have a lot of money here, being a minnow [the share not me!], only £5K, which is languishing at a value of just under £1K right now. I’ll probably sell soon and move on. I was just awaiting around because some had hoped for around £1 per share ATB

Might make a little, but there is a big touch on this share - almost 10%

A little tickle up today, but unfortunately 48.9p per share TO price is far below the price many had hoped :(
