“JD Wetherspoon chairman Tim Martin has sold about £1.5m worth of shares to repay the balance of a loan, which he had previously secured with shares. Wetherspoon said it was previously informed by Martin that he pledged 3.6m shares in the company as security for a facility with RBS. On Tuesday, Martin sold 500,000 shares at 309.5p each to repay the balance of the loan. The group said the security over any shares is in the process of being released.”

Yes, I hold quite a few here, now, after the PTI takeover. I think that this will be a good synergy both for cash and pipeline. Looking forward to good growth here.

Yes I read it The trouble is that it is yet another V.I article. I get very annoyed when “estate agents” are called “experts! I’ve tried to warn on other boards the dangers of believing a word in any V.I. report. We’ll be hearing about “the green roots of recovery” before long, again. I don’t know your position re: the property market. It’s a very sad situation, and I’m certainly not gloating – I’ve got lots mates who are suffering, and will suffer. However I think that we need to face the reality, and adjust accordingly. ATB

If one checks back through the SP - over, probably the last year – it has kept reasonably stable. This is a blessing for most pharmas, over that period. This is a company with a tremendous outlook. Cash is not a pertinent consideration, and their drug pipeline is almost bursting with breakout potential! ATB

You could say these “figures do not compute” and they certainly, have enough white-goods to do the necessary with to the books! Take care.

I agree. Sadly, virtually all retailers, are going to suffer horrendously, this year, to think otherwise is simply “sticking one’s heads in the sand.” The sector which DSG is in, will be particularly hard hit. There is no other honest way to look at it.

I can’t see any good news here, there may be a few blips upwards, but the trend has to be downward.
