Seismic ground testing27 Jan 2019 16:11
Hi I’m new to investing and know nothing of oil well drilling but I am am a hard rock Driller for many different things, I worked with my second man Eddy Bramley on a project in Scotland looking for deep coal, instead of drilling down to the coal we would drill a line of boreholes around 40 meters deep and lower a small charge of explosives to the bottom then drill a series of the same holes in the line with around 200 meters spacing, ones drilling and charging was completed a seismic wave reader would be connected to the ground with pins pushed into the ground, the explosive charge would be set off and the seismic reader would read what and type of rocks or coal (oil) by how long it would take the shock waves to bounce back to the probes.
Correct me if you want but is this similar to the way they look for oil, if I’m correct, this is how aaog know that the oil is there, along with other companies finds of course.
Hope this helps some people to understand how aaog know the oil is there.
