Interesting as that opens the door for those that stated they wouldn't back a gov with vox as part of it to do deals with the conservative without losing face.

Yep the directors here are like a demolition ball wrecking everything in their paths.. Other than their ability to draw excessive salaries i don't see anything they have key skills or are any good at. They are also like limpet mines and hold on it the company implodes or is defused..Put it another way it never ends well for shareholders .......IMHO

Conservatives won another seat taken from the socialists after the postal ballots were counted so now more of a stalemate then ever..

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Ballots from Spaniards living abroad were counted Friday, and they gave a new twist to the inconclusive results from the general election.

The conservative Popular Party gained an additional seat from Madrid’s constituency late in the day at the expense of the Socialist Workers’ Party. That change gives the right-wing coalition of the PP and the far-right Vox party 172 seats in the lower house of parliament and drops left-wing forces to 171.

Forming a stable governing coalition will require one of the blocks to have the support of 176 lawmakers in the 350-seat body, and it’s not clear that either side will be able to obtain enough backing from smaller parties.

The country’s main political parties had been waiting for the count in the hope they might win seats from opponents and recompose the final picture. Results coming in from different constituencies during the day showed no changes across Spain — until Madrid added the last-gasp surprise....................

Think the fear is overdone. The whole market knows these have been stuffed by the slovenians but with 165,751,348 Ordinary Shares in issue these could easily give a one pound per share special dividend to holders and still be up to their necks in cash should they win their case. In fact they could give 2 pounds and still be swimming in euro's.
