The protesting in the streets was apparently 24th May after a storm took the power out. Students couldn't get an answer from their local power supplier about when their electric would come back so protested on a bridge.

Gov have promised to sort the situation within the next fortnight apparently. See how they do.

As to "winning against the state." This first court case is against their partners not the state so that comment doesn't really count but with ICSID they have a fairly good chance odds wise.

48 percent of cases have been won with others settled so really pretty good odds specially when you think you're betting on a £3M co. suing for up to 500M euro's (though likely very much less will be awarded).

No thats not correct. AST knew the EIA wasn't necessary and that it was being used as a tool against them. It would have been a very bad move to agree to it. It was a no win scenario for them and they were always going to have to head to the courts to sort the Slovenian authorities and the greens they were slave to imo.

Maybe it will maybe it won't. End of day they just seem to be looking for extra funding from Amur for the latin american ventures.

More interested still on whether or not they win the upcoming court case. €3M and enhanced revenues from slovenia going forwards would be quite the boon imo specially with current marketcap.

AST have never said they expect to get the whole €500M that's the stick to beat the Slo's with. They do expect a hefty settlement though.

Don't forget they also have the partner dispute coming up in a couple of weeks too which could add considerably to its pot and revenues going forward so they're not being quite the "scammers" Amur holders appear to think they are..

As an AST holder I'd like to say its a very good deal. In fact you're darn lucky to be getting the opportunity to join our elect crew at all and you should grab it with both hands before the offers withdrawn.

Suppose the real question would be is £1.468 million enough cash to sort out the issues left by previous management?

Early days but would seem if they wanted to sell it at "mates rates" then they'd be better off rushing it through before srk revalue the plays?

Remember that although we own the assets without the finance to develop them they're less than useless to us (as shareholders).

If msmn maintain a large proportion of the co themselves and it becomes cash rich due to new investors coming in so the assets can be developed I'm ok with a new co. Being given shares in it too would be a bonus. Being able to buy prefloat would be ok too if the price is right.

Good that they're taking note of the Central Petroleum play imo. Their $40M aud farmin would seem to shine a light on the potential value of msmn's plays at just the right time for holders.

Yes that was a good rns to read. They need to work through these other issues as well as the biggie to bring in revenues asap.

Not taking the mm's offer either but really do wish they'd been able to keep the momentum going from the finals with a bit of newsflow on drilling something.. somewhere....sometime.
