Are there any other sources for Metallurgical Coal high-vol B fob Hampton Roads that don't involve paying that peeps know of and are willing to share?

Not a believer that they've actually got a customer wanting 20Ktonnes/month myself.

Think they have the mine but no buyers hence the 10K offtake fell apart when investors got in touch with this "customer" and they replied with "what offtake agreement?"

CGO then doubled down with the spiel claiming they now had a 20K/month customer who was definitely going to start picking up coal in Aug and first revenue was to come before end of that month.

Unless CGO is holding back on RNSing this news it hasn't happened either.

If true to form CGO will next RNS that they've delayed selling coking coal as they now plan to concentrate on selling coke itself as its a much higher margin they just need to place first to buy the coke batteries. ie the prize will get bigger exponentially but will never actually appear just like with their small gold play that turned out to be massive and unheard of since.

Aren't we expecting the "financials" to reflect the past when these were having teething issues as the coal price dropped?

Not expecting much historically myself its the looking forward statements I want to be positive.

Noted they stated Transore "will be" collecting washed coal not that they are already so hope they're not planning to purchase that first coke plant "within months" via a placing.

Don't know about todays trades but when I was with saxobank they used to break my buys/sells into tiny little trades as they were direct to market or some such thing.

Wasn't a fan of the system and left pretty quick. Mostly because each tiny trade was moving the price so I was paying more. (needs grrr smilie)

Not a fan of advfn ben board either. Seems to be all about hating rather than investing.

Do find their charts useful otherwise wouldn't bother with the subscription.

Maybe for ourselves if we're holding at a loss and so don't want this new offtake to be a scam deal but think it still good to show caution on the boards for newbies.

Still hope I'm surprised and the offtake happens but its two thirds of the way through Sept now and we were promised Aug sales and revenues and that after Junes 10k ton/month offtake evaporated into nothingness after months of cgo dangling it like a carrot for pi's.

I don't mind some short selling by instis before a placing if its the only way these aim co's can get finance but do mind if they were short selling from .27 knowing they could buy back at .15.

If true that's too much greed by the financiers and too little protecting the shareholders by the board which I see as a red flag for pi's.

Lack of movement the last couple of sessions may just have been down to the technical's imo.

The stock closed its gap from mid June Wednesday and looking a little overbought came back and has been making a bullflag last 2 sessions.

Am expecting a continuation of the move up once the flags played out and think that if Platts up again as posted below it'll play out pretty quick.

In fact if it does start flat tomorrow think I've just talked myself into another little top up.

Well that's what happened with A-Z with their 10K tonnes/month contract that was RNS'd as starting in June.

A-Z had never heard of the offtake agreement. Thankfully once exposed carl turned up immediately with an even bigger offtake with another unknown uncheckable co. and they're now well late with that one too.

No red flags here though all good I'm sure.

Didn't they say their finals were before end of month? Would be a good opportunity to update. Likely they'll need to come up with something fairly positive given the historical no's will just be what they've spent etc.

$36M/year profit? That's pretty hot for the marketcap imo. Still a case they have to convince the market they're doing it but comforting no's all the same.

If they couldn't debt finance once they're flowing and have a proven reliable revenue stream would agree it could be seen as a red flag but not at this stage of the co's development surely?

Suppose in their defence it is true the sp spiked to .27 on expectations of very high flow rates from day 1 imho.

Insti's must have known that spike was unsustainable with Mondays news indicating patience will be needed by pi's so why would they want to buy high?

Yes thanks penstock, fundamentals starting to improve here imho just needs the sp to start to react to it.

Must be close to being out of the summer doldrums for the market looking forwards to seeing how the sp reacts from what appears to be its own lows.
