Completely agree Merlin. These people will probably get burnt in the future. They aren’t as genius as they think they are.

Surely this is worth at least a penny as all is not lost as the rns was not good but not as bad as it could have been?

After reading it again, is it really terrible news? Are we just being fed unfounded optimism? And Is it incompetence from the company or just one of those things?

I’ve leant a few things from these boards over the years but the main thing is not to believe what ANYONE says but use any actual factual information that people sometimes kindly post. The people in the US are probably just trying their best to keep the price up so they can sell off by the looks of it. Hope I’m wrong but things aren’t looking good. I, like many here shouldn’t have gambled in what I know little about. I’ll probably hold for now and hope for the best and get used to writing the money off again. I was v much hoping for good news so I could top slice but that looks pretty unlikely now! :(

I really the hope they have deep deep pockets as they’ll surely be loosing a lot of money. Where are all the rampers from earlier? And the people saying they’ll buy more! Either have too much money or too little sense. Has this company actually ever delivered anything? That’s a genuine question.

I admit to not knowing much about 88e but took a punt a few years back and have been disappointed ever since. This is about the fourth company that I’ve bought into that has to do with oil/mining and this is the only one that hasn’t gone bust yet so I guess that’s a bonus. Unfortunately I bought a few more on this one and this will certainly be my last go at buying in this extremely risky sector as it’s not for me.
Now does anyone here think it’ll be worth sticking or selling at a loss? Please no ridiculous ramping . Nebul don’t worry about replying thanks.

Ash and VTEC. I think you did the sensible thing and I wish I had sold some. But everyone is different. If you ha e a portfolio of £1m and have a risky play like 88e at about 10k then why would you sell? If your portfolio is only 30k and 10k are 88e then that's a different story all together. It's different for everyone.

The all important word being 'could'. So do we actually know when we'll get the results and when we do, will it be just be an update or will it definitely have some serious news? Either good or bad.

If it's good news I won't be selling for 4p I guess. And if it's bad I won't! When do we actually get the results? Does anyone know?

Yep, I really hope they tasted nice! I actually tried to sell a few here on Thursday but my 4p price wasn't quite matched. I've been here a long time and had a big paper loss a couple of weeks back so tried to derisk a little. Trying to get 4p may well cost me in the end or it could turn out to be a stroke of good fortune. Only time will tell and nobody here knows.

Who knows Jeff? In the long run you may have done the right thing but I hope not on this occasion! I did the same thing the other day with another company. Made some decent profit but got a bit bored as the sp had stagnated so thought I'd try and trade it. The next day it went up more than ever before and is now at record levels. Good luck with your next trade.

Did you notice that there’s at least 2 containers with the AFC Branding that I could see and probably at least 3. Am I right in thinking that they’re only drawing power from one unit/container? The others probably just have kit/spare parts?

Completely agree with Aim in asking a very simple question. He simply asked why? People all too often write nonsense on these boards (no offence Crazy) with absolutely no reason why. I do think Extreme E will make a difference though. With confirmation that the system works, a small fraction of the viewers may well by a few and don’t forget that people like ourselves may well buy a few more. Sentiment has changed, product is working and contacts are being made all around the world. I’d have thought these 3 factors will have a positive influence come next week. But then nothing surprises me on AIM!

I kinda agree. Hope the racing is as interesting as the concept as a whole. Who knew that pound for pound, mangroves store 4 x the carbon of trees!? :)

But what if it’s bad news? By the time Oz/US have sold we’d all be screwed or is this incorrect? Seems a bit unfair! :)
