The 222 trades were part of an iceberg order: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/icebergorder.asp Somebody who wants to buy a large number of shares will place an order for a small number of shares which immediately refills. This avoids tipping off the market about the size of the order.

Anybody have a link to the Q and A? The RNS (yesterday) says:

It may or may not drop more. I think the key point is that an undervalued share just got even cheaper. Stocks seem to be falling across the board and I'm not sure why. Every sell is also a buy, and visa versa.

When would we sell? On the 8th?

I think the top grant of £18k is only available to pubs with a rateable value above £51k. My understanding is that grants for non-essential retail will be £6k and upwards depending on the rateable value.

PFen, they literally just announced they received covenant waivers - keep up!

The company will be in a similar position this February/March as it was last year except that it will have at least £10m less cash due to last year's loss. So take the market cap from last February of ~£270m, subtract £10m, and you get ~£260m or 76p per share. There could be more money lost in February and March due to Lockdowns - H1 last year had four months of lockdown and posted a loss of £20m, which would equate to a market cap of ~£240 or 70p per share. This is just extrapolating from last year's market cap without considering whether the market cap last year was well priced. If there is a rights issue (I don't think there will be) then the market cap will be different due to the new capital, and the number of shares will also change so it would be difficult to know what the share price would be. The key point is that I don't believe anything has fundamentally changed with this business since last year.

It isn't heavily shorted, I don't know why people keep saying this.

How do you know it is heavily shorted? There are no shorts above 0.5% according to the daily update.

He had to put Clinton's Cards into administration almost as soon as he arrived, and the new owners didn't need him. His Costcutter work looks impressive.

The only shop I have seen with a web address in the window is in York (High Ousegate), but the web address is "cardfactory dot eu dot com". You can see it on Google street view.
