VTU could take a leaf out of PAYS book and start a share buy back program while the sp is depressed.

Although the numbers are very close, lol.

Whoops, meant p/e of just over 6 not eps.

With a dividend cover of nearly 5x & eps of just over 6, the market really has a downer on VTU at this sp. Hoping for a merger or bid at these prices.

Article in The Times today (p50 Business section) reference British Car Auctions (BCA) 30% surge in profits & revenues jumping from £546m to £909m. This might explain the recent small recovery in VTU's sp. BCA also runs the 'webuyanycar' website

I see a buying opportunity with limited downside at this price because of their cash balance. Control of R&D budgets should reduce cash burn further.

Revenues of about £750k from a calcium chew product. Net cash burn about £1m/pa after revenues. About a month to go before ex-divi. Be interesting to see the price action leading up to and post dividend payment.

At this SP, RF et al must have thought about delisting and taking VTU private. With £30m profit pa, it wouldn't take many years to get their money back.

News doesn't just come out on the quarterlies.

Assuming it really was an O trade & not mm to mm.

Looks like the MM's dropped the bid to fill it too. Also, despite discontinuing the Aspirin, (which could have been worded more clearly in the rns) the other two products continue through their development process and they may lead to commercialisation which would turn around the sp overnight. I understand long term holders must have lost patience by now but the £20k buy shows confidence. Lets face it, they aren't going to run out of funding anytime soon.

Seems to me they have more cash than they know what to do with. This looks like a £22m investment fund with a chemistry lab attached. Might get better returns from the cash on deposit alone. Have bought in on that reason alone.
