There are Alpha posters on most shares. I suppose you could call them INFLUENCERS. IMO they do(well the best of them do) or why are they planted on virtually every BB. Some are allegedly paid to ramp or deramp or disrupt.

So whether they actually have the ability to make a share change direction is difficult to asses. My view is that they can influence inexperienced holders

I know the debate about whether consolidation is good or bad. But 68 BILLION. I haven't heard of a number so huge.

This ability the MMs have of hiding large trades til after 4.30 is grossly unfair to the investor. It really should be ammended by FCA but they are funded by the companies they are supposed to monitor. Its like kids marking their own Homework.

The system is tilted against us in many subtle ways. But we're stuck with it for now

Yes a lot of shares. There may be some kind of share consolidation at some point. Maybe not. There are many shares with a huge Free Float which do well.

Just for History Buffs.There is an area of Panama City that I know very well called Caledonia. In the late 17th Century an independent Scotland established a Colomy near the city. It failed after many Scots had invested all they had into it. England then made the deal to bail them out by the Act of Union.

I know many Scots didn't like it but they can't deny from then on Both England and Wales and Scotland prospered as never before. Scots Regiments were responsible for managing the growing Empire.. This led to the great shipbiilding companies on the Clyde. #Ok nuff said.but I love Caledonia
