What I will say is I was taught to believe that what a c e o said in an RNS was Gospel. That's why I , and I suspect many others, continued to invest and average down. I can see now that was a mistake.

Why not debate Stas' points rather than knee jerk reaction some are employing. I think Stas has raised issues which may expose the real reasons we have seen zero Shareholder Value in 5 years.
Each RNS sends the SP lower. That is a FACT.
Instead of looking forward to updates, we have learned to fear them.
Each RNS lays out yet another reason( excuse) why progress is limited. Whether it's Pressures, lack of equipment, the Weather,lack of money......the list goes on.
Without the carrot of the JV how many of us would still be here??
Time for a dose of realism.

If Arthur is as Amateurish as you claim then the only sensible course of action is for the JV partner to take control in order for COPL to fulfill its potential.
AM of course will be resisting this.
The struggle for control may well be the sticking point which is the reason this JV process is taking so long.
Our JV partner will be fully aware of AMs shortcomings, if indeed Stas is correct in his analysis

Maybe we are so blinded by our loyalty to the leader that we are the only ones who cannot see it.

For a variety of reasons Art is struggling to make rapid progress. The JV will provide the cash and expertise to really exploit this massive resource.

Even if this were to come good, I'll find it almost impossible to forgive Art for taking 6 years of my life.
He filled those years with frustration anger and false promises.
I could have done other things with the large amount invested due to his constant leading investors down multiple garden paths.
