For better or worse I'd planned the rest of my days on the premise that everybody would be well rewarded when Copl finally did its thing.

I'm sure I'm only one of many who had no doubts that sooner rather than later we'd be buying our own island in the Caribbean.

So when you by degrees start to realize that not only is this not going to happen but maybe, just maybe we've been strung along and led up the Garden Path time and time again.

When Hope turns to disbelief and then the bitterness and anger sets in.

As I've said previously there's no negative emotion more cutting than betrayal.

So where from here?

As I see it we have two options. Either make it clear to Art that to save his tarnished reputation, he has to mend his ways and deliver on at least some of his promises.

Now if the general feeling is that it has now gone too far and the position is irretrievable then he has to be replaced and a new BOD needs to be installed.

I have no experience of the method of bringing this about and I really do desperately wish the first option can be effected.

But we cannot go on like this. Lurching from one excuse to the next can to be kicked down the road.

I supported him for years. Somehow he had garnered a collective sentiment that he was some kind of Oil Overlord who knew what he was doing and where he was taking us.

But over time looking at Shareholder value, poor production,shocking Financial Deals and then rewarding himself and Gaffney with huge salary increases many of his former Believers began to lose faith.

The recent collapse from 20p to 5p together with the proposed 1000 1 Consolidation have proved to be "a Bridge too far"

If there is some Good News in the background then produce it. Now.

Time for any residual credibility is fast running out.

I think what troubles most of us is the suspicion that this whole debacle has been engineered by Art for reasons which remain a mystery. But the beneficiaries are certainly not the likes of us.

The closer you look at AMs Financial Arrangements re Copl, the more they seem like a chain of serial disasters.

His obsession with the High Net Worth Brigade has excluded the very people who kept the lights on for years.

Now hundreds of us feel ignored, sidelined and fleeced.

I have seldom if ever seen so many disgruntled shareholders as now.
