RE: A Whole Lotta Shakin Going On16 Jan 2026 09:53
As an intrinsically trusting soul , I have been constantly stunned ,frankly , by many people’s behaviour and what they’ll do to make money , in particular ! We’ve all been conned by people and businesses we’ve had dealing with. Sometimes shockingly. Can make cynics of us all.
We’re all here to make money and no doubt prove even to,ourselves , that we’re savvy investors as well as creating family legacies etc and have a bit of fun at the same time.
But in the end ,we can only look out for ourselves, and ever was it thus.
Gervaise mistake , in my eyes, was to flout his responsibilities by buying a bit ,advertising it to his loyal followers then selling down gazillions as quick as he could , and almost destroy what he’d helped to build . Thereby desecrating his reputation and creating cynicism in a lot of investors.
Sandeep was plain mafia mentality and overstepped his authority. There’s firm but fair leadership or dodgy dealing to crush a junior and in a fraternity that looks out for one another, getting shafted doesn’t wear well.
Callum loves his craft and is good at it but not a salesman and never claimed to be one.
Shaun isn’t anybody’s fool and we’ll be lucky to have him for the five years he promised me. He’s already made his monies but I see in him someone building primarily , a legacy for his own career and history in the making , and he’s not completely altruistic but I do see a man who gives back to shareholders as that’s a win win for him and above board.
That’s the kind of company I want to invest it.
Maybe we’ve struck gold in more than one way.
