Perhaps a moot point given current negotiations where I believe anything could happen ( and more than likely in our favour one way or the other !) however , on a recent direct discussion with SD I asked the question re dtm and he casually inferred that the dtm in his view,was kind of already taken last year when they started the decline !

I’m inclined to agree.

I looked back at some of your past research and thoughts and you posted this in oct 21 , and I wondered if you still felt ,given todays gold prices and the new information and facts around costs expected etc , that this held true ?

No worries if not but I’d be very interested in any more recent thoughts ?:

‘ The increasing grades in the infill holes within the South East Crescent Zone and increased width and higher grades below the current resource indicate the South East Crescent Zone alone will have 10 million Oz Gold +. This equates to 50-60p per share alone. Must be over 10 million ounces in rest of the deposit easily, maybe just in the Eastern Breccia. What an amazing deposit. Probably best copper-gold deposit discovered since Olympic Dam 40 years ago.’

Timber the facts going forwards may be that there is more than just ‘gold’ as a resource in our portfolio !:-)

There is a lot of irony in the fact that some time ago most of us were bored silly at seeing the SP sitting at 12 pence for aeons !!

At that time we were with Hav but not too much else going on and little in the coffers and no real strategic roadmap in reality or foundation other than a discovery and a poorly executed JVA !

Now there’s a super board. A super MD . Monies for funding supported by top ranked banks. Australias richest entrepreneur as a support. A new listing upcoming. More and more Paterson gold tenements to dig up. The list goes on and we’re hopeful of 9 p! But what could that grow to ?!

This time it’s supported by a proper foundation and more to play for and play with and an ultimate multi asset multi billion dollar goal.

I think this is what SD means by platform. So it will support upcoming value.
Makes me glad I sat it out.
Judgement rather than luck hopefully on all our parts if it’s any consolation!

As many of us have said after the latest announcements . SD is doing what he has laid out openly.
The unknowns, I appreciate , can be construed as disconcerting , but I have chosen to assess them as part of the greater plan to come.
Newcrest have also been very quiet of late in expanding on milestone data and they’re otherwise now occupied. If as we think and hope ( some of us ) there are bigger plans afoot for Greatland , then we have to , or choose to , take some of it on research plus trust or faith.

Not easy but I have also never known or met an MD who so clearly does what he says he will do and communicates so readily.

Research , trust , communication plus a four leaf clovers for the fairy dust !

I am firmly of the view that this is an exciting time for GGP and that the new management have clear reasons for bringing in top brass to the evolving organisation. Of course I hope I’m right but we research and then choose our stance. Sit it out in as informed a way as possible or leave !

The blind spots we yet do not know about are of course risks we choose to take by holding or choose not to accept (by selling !) but there is only so much we can be informed of ,in ,what is clearly a game of clever chess,and when there’s already a merger taking place !

Yasmin has many previous strings to her bow including legalities of compliance into new indexes amongst other platform building exercises like M&A etc
There ‘will’ imho be more than one reason for her appointment and I hope it to be a block building reason in addition to ASX.

Freddie we either trust and remain invested or we don't unfortunately. The point of my earlier post was simply to say that if one has questions then ask the MD directly at forums he openly gives.
We all know anything can happen/change/ surprise in companies as they grow, acquire , divest , get taken out etc etc. But it is surely our jobs as investors to keep in touch with events as best we can.
Or sell out !

No risk no reward. But risk can mean a lot of nerves, tension, anticipation etc.

From the research I have done plus others research plus talking directly to the top man I remain excited, full of anticipation and in awe quite frankly at the ambition of the leader here! Will it go our way? I remain very optimistic but always research more as I go.

What we cannot see we have to assume is either for us or against us. This is turning out to be a more well constructed and regulated company going forwards than is normal on AIM I hope that will give us all more comfort going forwards!

On re-reading the announcement and reading through some pertinent paragraphs and spending time with visitors to London who have been at pains to keep us informed, it is clear that gateways to growth and Greatland (as we are referred to in the RNS) have pretty big plans.

Yasmin appointment is not imho simply for the ASX but for bigger fish we hope to fry going forwards from the listing.

Shaun does reiterate in the message that we as shareholders will have questions before we vote. I assume that to mean he will be back over ahead of the vote to inform and take questions from shareholders.

I suggest those of you with questions, doubts, queries, etc attend if so and take an informed view.
There are not many organisations where shareholders hold the power to sway a decision. Be there if you want to make a difference?
