v deep Mush and spot on Dodge....it was 2p and less, then 12p for aeons...it is now almost 14p and has hit over the 15p mark. It will rise again and there are many layers as GH says, yet to peel away to reveal the golden prize....blimey we're all poets tonight!:-) But better to be poets than miseries.

Pompey that is what we said in the replies. To be clear however much profit over and above the 20k you traded and kept within that ISA doesn't matter. You can still add to it with funds if you haven;t reached your allowance of the full 20k.

In other words if you make profit trading over and above the 20k with any shares you chop, change buy or sell, that is fine.

No Jaguar, you can trade however you like within the same ISA whether you chop and change the share buying or not. What is traded in the ISA remains in the ISA profit, change of named share or not.

You are basically only allowed to put a total of 20k into the ISA per tax year. What's already in it, stays in it tax free if already traded within it. Hope that makes sense.
