@Lindon: 3 to 4 months of reconditioning maintenance can work wonders. Steel, refractory and a large heat source is not rocket science. We could all be pleasantly surprised.

@Paul150: No I have no idea as to the financial arrangements and possibly wouldn't still if they were public. A pile of product on the ground is not earning us anything yet though. Handy to have when the rush returns of course.

@Paul150: Just over 50 container loads sitting in that pile.

@LB21: Almost exclusively Durban. Historically there was a time when containers were also picked up in Cape Town but that has not happened for a while now.

We know that real V prices historically are difficult to find but are they actually far higher than we think? Noting that our broker did offer some ray of hope although I read that as for specialist products. Will we be surprised in the near future? Hope so. Rgds Pal

@OilyRags: No apologies required. I keep a close eye on vessel's shipping between Durban, Cape Town and Baltimore but could be surprised by a sneaky offload so pleased to see others with an interest. By the way that latest ship travelled via Lome, a new one for me. Depending on which site one follows the next possible is in tomorrow or Friday.

Sorry, I see what you have done. The delivery on 28th had an estimated value of $2.3 Million. A similar quantity on 15th of April would have an estimated value of $3.6 Million. Lets hope there are more containers on the Northern Defender.

As previously announced, one of the Mustang convertible loan notes ("CLNs") holders, Primorus Investments Plc ("Primorus") elected to exercise its backstop arrangement in relation to its CLNs (nominal value of US$1.5 million plus accrued interest thereon). Bushveld intends to issue a convertible loan note to Primorus as consideration for Primorus's CLNs, with further details to follow.

It is worth knowing that the usual 3 container delivery landed to Baltimore mid February had an estimated value of $1.2 Million. The same delivery due mid April will have an estimated value of $3.25 Million. Do your own research of course but I am happy. Let them play their games.

@numpty5: It is my understanding that the contract price is based on an average price 2 weeks before dispatch but I have no documents to prove that. Business and Finance is not my forte but it has been mused on this board that the Company may sell on the invoicing to raise the cash before delivery (minus commision), again I cannot confirm that.

@jimbo66: There are currently 5 vessels scheduled for March although it is likely the last one will roll over into April. I rarely have advanced notice of any BMN containers (although it has happened on the rare occasion). Usually 3 containers, roughly 57,000Kg but sometimes more. It will be interesting to see if the average increases in April signifying buying pressure ahead of rising prices. Time will tell. All the best, Pal

@jimbo66: Unfortunately that website often duplicates the entries so your first post of three containers was correct.

@Uncle John: As I understand it the increase of income from exports to the US have a lag of about 6 to 8 weeks from the date the product leaves the plant.
