For the first time since our coverage of Nitrovan Imports to the US began in May 2017 we have exported more than 250,000 Kg in a single month.
Having the first delivery on the 3rd and the last on the 31st of the month amounted to four vessel deliveries against only two in July. (Not every vessel arriving from SA carries product).
RE: Meanwhile........ back at the Plant29 Aug 2018 10:17
@Endion: The disruption may have affected transportation as the shipping data indicated a gap; the reason for which may have been incorrectly assigned in my posting of 9th August
"keeping to the positive trend, your point..Vametco on target to produce 3680 mtV in 2018..There are some who think that plant upgrades may have been applied towards the end of June/early July."
@Typhoon: Can't do sums and lifting heavy weights is getting harder I just spotted that we are currently a little less than 5 Rand which made me think that might be a target open in SA. End of thinking for the day it is too tiring.
Oh dear, American imports $55 million in almost 8 months $1.667 million per week $238,000 per day Only 10 Million Warrants at about 14p, £1.4 million for minimal dilution. Not bad for an AIM Company I would say
How is this for starters Exports to USA 2018 to date almost 900 Tonnes, valued at about $55 million. This equates to about 50% of exports, we own about 50% of income so that is about $55 million income. On top of this we processed a bit more for our electrolyte program. We upgraded our production facilities as promised. We supplied a VRFB as promised. Sorry we didn’t tell you all about it last week WE HAVE BEEN BUSY.
One of the new vessels operating the USA/South Africa route (MS Cape Manila) has discharged one container of Nitrovan from Durban and one from Cape Town over the weekend.
There remains the possibility of two more ship visits to Baltimore this month although the Primavera is due on the 31st and could roll over into September.
For new visitors: please be aware that the estimated revenue figure is taken from the information provided by Loudspeaker at https://thebushveldperspective.com/vanadium-prices and backdated 6 weeks from arrival date.
The selection of this figure has proved to have been very close to that issued by the Company in the past it will be very interesting to review this when we have the next official figures.
Agreed @Sanchez599, There was a phase of plastic coating steel cables (not necessarily for bridge construction) rapid corrosion occurred beneath the plastic causing premature failure.
