We have yet to add value for Bushveld Energy which is working to deploy vanadium redox flow batteries in grid as well as industrial applications in South Africa. The company is also working with the IDC of South Africa to build an electrolyte manufacturing plant.

We are struggling to see how the market may supply demand for vanadium in the next two years and we feel vanadium prices should settle at a higher price level than previously envisaged for the longer term.

I think that it is important to point out that the electrolyte was not initially at fault. It was contaminated during handling according to the RNS

"The delay from the original timeline for the project, which saw delivery of hardware at the end of Q2 2018, resulted from the unexpected contamination of the electrolyte that occurred during the filling stage, which was discovered during system commissioning that made the VRFB inoperable"
