@dubmaskullanga: Agreed that this was marked as "Site A". The Tender document declares site 60936 as the meeting point for 7th November, I have as yet not managed to link the two positively.

@Vauch: I don't think so. The tender document clearly indicates that final decision will be 14th January.

@AlastairMcgrift: It would be interesting to know who is behind Yellow Dragon. That information would shine a light on what may be going on in the background. A long time ago FM clearly indicated two things, Yellow Dragon was not a threat and that the Company had taken steps to protect the shareholders from hostile actions.

Let us not forget this from Q2 Update. "The Company continues to increase its activities and options for VRFB manufacturing. This includes investment or further partnerships directly with VRFB manufacturers globally and South Africa-based facilities."

@Lindon: An interesting point but there is currently a market for the Vanchem products so if that remained after takeover why would we cancel that when, I am sure we have the experience to increase production for the purpose of Electrolyte production? Exciting times ahead for sure.

The shipping information of Vanchem Vanadium Products is not quite so clear as that for Vametco due to several factors.

1/ The containers are usually transhipped (dropped of in a port and loaded onto a second vessel)

2/ The delivery reports contain several containers with more than one product posted at the same time with only full details available for one of them.

3/ Most recently one vessel was delayed for 3 weeks by mechanical issues.

It would appear that 7000 Kg of Ammonium Metavandate and 31500 Kg of V2O5 left Durban on 31st July and possibly delivered to Houston on 30th September. (it is possible that some was dropped off in New York though)

Then 20000 Kg of V2O5 left Durban on 13th August for delivery tomorrow in Montreal.

I will continue to track these as best I can.

@Delboys: Thank you yes, I have been recording Vanchem shipments for several months now. They are not quite so simple to follow due to the transhipments. The three containers that you are referring to are bound for Montreal via Freeport Bahamas. I am not sure if this port will change after the recent weather disruption.

@stodgy88: Sorry for the delay, have been out all day. The next vessel to arrive in Baltimore will be tomorrow. If it has Nitrovan on board we may know in a few days time. One vessel which was due on 23rd of August has been alongside a repair berth in Philadelphia for almost three weeks however it left Durban on the 31st of July which may have been during the maintenance period. (it is currently scheduled for 15th but this has changed many times).

On today's information we currently have ships scheduled for 12th, 15th 21st and 22nd of September.

@dubmaskullanga: I have no intention to demean your thoughts or opinions. One unfortunate problem is that a loaded tanker carries very little to no ballast and dependent upon any part cargo the ballast is distributed to different areas of the vessel.
