ARA Petroleum Tanzania (APT) has begun the process of land acquisition and compensation for its forthcoming Ntorya Gas Field Development Project. This initiative involves acquiring plots for the Chikumbi-1 well and the Upstream Processing Facilities, as well as expanding the previously acquired NT-3 site to accommodate the construction of a camp and storage yard. Community engagement sessions were held earlier this month in the villages of Ntorya, Namahyakata, Barabarani, and Nanguruwe within the Mtwara District. The Mtwara District Commissioner (Ms. Mwanahamisi Munkunda) attended these sessions along with many regional government officials. APT expresses its appreciation and gratitude for the warm reception and support extended by the local communities.
