I think there are loads of big oil companies that don't operate in Argentina. US, Canadian, Middle East, Far East companies that are rolling in cash and need to buy reserves. I don't think they give a fig about Argentina.

New Chairman takes over a week today. Van De Burgh says in interview the new mining assets already acquired and will be put into Shuka. Big assets from what we know.

Could be last week to buy these before news.

Can't rule out a buy out of BOR. Oil companies are buying companies to boost their reserves. Upland Resources had an offer of 14p this week. Big oil are doing mergers to buy reserves rather than explore for it. BOR sitting on 462M barrels RECOVERABLE. Surely not gone unnoticed at current £15m Mcap.

Have to move the bid up to get any shares. The spread is ridiculous.

Stock keeps flashing every 30 seconds with change to the ask price. Was doing that yesterday aswell. Indicates that someone wants to buy shares but no stock around.

Basically Mr Calgary can offer bid/ask prices to get shares..He obviously want's them at the bid price..but if he's not getting many then will have to move to the ask price. He needs to make sure he is the best price on the bid or ask to get the stock. I noticed the 500k trades today and yesterday and the 700k after hours yesterday..seems like he is accumulating again.

I believe Mr Calgary has direct market access so can cut out the middle man, (MM) therefore if he is taking sells directly on the bid he is buying shares at bid price rather than having to pay the MM ask. As Gus says when he can't get any more stock he will have to go to market and buy at the Ask like everyone else. If it's Mr Calgary taking stock then a holdings RNS is likely at some point. That's how I understand it...might be wrong though.

If they are not able to open hole log then they will need to case the well and then log behind casing. Nothing to do with the well being successful. Just to do with downhole conditions.

Another late trade for 700k shares at 2.09p. Someone picking up the sells today? Mr Calgary.

Africa Oil Week

My trip to Africa Oil Week was extremely fruitful and a number of countries as well as companies showed just how well they are doing on the continent. Country wise I would pinpoint Angola, Namibia, South Africa and Nigeria as being in the spotlight, the latter due to San Leon Energy being able to announce the huge funding for the pipeline during the conference. Also speaking to Apache I learned more about Egypt and why Pharos and others remain keen.

The other country that was being mentioned a great deal was Morocco, ahead of next week’s Morocco Summit it was good to see a full complement of Chariot executives speaking at the conference and plenty of chatter about Sound and its progress (see below) as well as SDX and its reemergence and of course the exciting potential at Predator who won’t be at the Summit.

Well they won't be at the Moroccan Summit.

Just to let you guys know. Predator aren't going to the Moroccan summit next week.

QGC has just secured $1Bn of investment from Abu Dhabi F9 Capital Investment for battery metal mines into Shuka Minerals. Should come in handy.
