Nothing to stop directors buying shares in the open market. Any contracts being negotiated are not guaranteed therefore there is no insider information. They have openly said they are negotiating coal supply contracts and just as it is for directors, the public can buy shares with the same knowledge so it doesn't stop the directors buying. They reaaly need to stick in Β£30-50k and buy shares to show confidence in themselves. If you're not happy about the Open Offer then vote against all the resolutions. I'm sure if after voting against, shareholders can propose their own resolutions by a show of hands in the GM and propose something like the directors defer their salaries for a year so the company can service the Lind debt without raising the money they are asking for. It would be better than going bust.
