Havieron Potential1 Feb 2019 13:14
OK I spent my lunchtime knocking this up in Excel.
Havieron Target 1 (Gravity Anomaly) – 300m across and 400-1200 deep
300 x 300 x 800 = 72,000,000m3
Havieron Target 2 (Magnetic Anomaly) – 450m across and 800-1400 deep
450 x 450 x 600 = 121,500,000m3
Total Volume = 72,000,000 + 121,500,000 = 193,500,000
Specific Gravity of ore = 2.5
Mass = 193,500,000 x 2.5 = 483,750,000 tonnes
If we use conservative values of 2g/tonne gold and 0.2% copper this would give us
483,750,000 x 2 = 967,500,000 grams gold and 483,750,000 * 0.2 = 967,500 tonnes of copper
I now used the values in the link to the website provided by Fun which should allow for some cutoff in the calculations.
https://undervaluedequity.com/mineral-deposit-value-how-to-calculate-the-potential-value-of-a-mining-project/
Oz of gold – 967,500,000 / 34.2857 = 28,218,762 Oz
Pounds of copper – 967,500 * 2,204.62 = 2,132,972,385 pounds
At today’s prices of $1,326 / Oz gold and $2.765 / pound copper the value of the discovery would be
(28,218,762 * $1,326) + (2,132,972,385 * $2.765) = $ 43,315,747,056
Again as per the website we look at 5% of the value of the deposit as what someone would be prepared to pay -
$2,165,787,352 or £1,665,990,270 or roughly 50p / share
Wildly optimistic I know but as per some of Tiburn’s calculations over the last few months it shows what is eminently possible. I would be very happy with ¼ of 50p / share.
