This is from the JORC table at the end of the Newcrest report Tom.

Further work is planned to evaluate exploration opportunities that extend the known mineralisation. Initial drilling
conducted by Newcrest has confirmed higher grade mineralisation, broadened mineralised extents defined by prior drilling
and extended the depth of observed mineralisation of the Havieron prospect. The results of drilling to date indicate the
limits of mineralisation have been closed off to the east, and south, and remain open to the north, and at depth. Drilling
programs at Havieron are ongoing with 6 drill rigs currently in operation.

I don't care what the SP does today - I'm here for the inevitable end game - it's happening.

Don't think so alamo - Newcrest have a 24Mtpa mill just up the road at Telfer that is hungry to devour all the high grade ore that Havieron can throw at it - this is nothing like Solg.

Did anyone notice the Brownfield Exploration Section in the report.

"Telfer – Drill testing of the Ironclad Prospect was completed with assay data downgrading the prospectivity. In
the immediate Telfer mine area, West Dome South drilling and revision is ongoing."

So the prospectivity of the remaining ore is being downgraded - kinda explains why they've brought forward the next $25M spend at Havieron. Speed is of the essence here for NCM.

Newcrest is a $24B major company - the Havieron results (while important in the long term for them) is not a catalyst for their SP yet. The analysts are looking at their gold production today and the forecast for the next 12 months.

No idea bunsen - I'm not very clued up about the market mechnics TBF.
If you have a long term view on where this is going any buy today will prove to be good value in the long run.

I was a bit stunned and dazed by it originally but as it's sinking in I literally couldn't be happier.

we haven't even seen any of the new SW-NE direction drills that NCM have been working on since early December. Now why did they decide to change direction again - oh yeah to follow the trend - wait until the next set come in in roughly 6 weeks time.

Looking at that corporate guidance - I'm assuming that the $25M for stage 3 was allocated into next years budget but they are now going to use it this year - confirmation that stage 3 is imminent.

still open to the north (we knew that from the satellite anyway) but also still open at depth

That's my wish list well and truly taken care of - Over the moon.
