RE: Processing costs at Telfer31 Jan 2020 12:59
Well Stu.
They are processing 0.7g/t at Telfer now and making a small profit on it so if we base the processing cost on that even though it should go lower with better grades. Allow another 0.5g/t (generous) to cover trucking and CAPEX costs over the life of the mine.
Now it's down to grades - can we supply grade at an average of say 2g/t Au and another 0.5g/t Au Eq (copper) - that would mean would have about 1.3g/t profits.
Say we supply 500,000 tonnes a year gives us 500,000*1.3=650,000 grams of profit / 31 = 21,000 oz of profit
multiple that by the spot gold price at the time say $1500 = $31,500,000 profit and then we get our share
Very rudimentary I know but a good starting point
