the big MMs who have underwritten the RI do not have the mindset of the PI. They will have received £ms in fees for underwriting & will just get shot of the excess!

The problem is people have difficulty facing up to the fact that they have lost money on a poor investment. Price predictions i have seen on here are nothing outlandish & this share could drop further than the lowest prices i've seen being touted around. It's about confidence & at the moment there is none in this stock; not even from the company's board. Only time will tell where this SP will be but i can assure you all when 2.75 bn new shares are thrown into the market & millions are being held by underwriters they will not all be getting held for 5 years waiting for the price to go to £3

if the executive/non executive board of a company do not have confidence in the company to invest fully even at discounted prices it speaks volumes to me. Notwithstanding these people will be privy to inside information. Having seen what has gone on with this stock over the last few months i really se this as uninvestable. It is a gamble punt on a vaccine being announced. That is all!

i think you're referring to the Qatari's Calamari. They'll have taken up their rights!

just seems obvious to me. you'll have so many investors who were duped by greed into taking up the 'discounted' 84p shares that they would have scraped together all available funds to take up their rights. well, it was a no brainer wasn't it? SP 134, RI share 84p. 50p profit overnight on morning of 7th October. All these peeps now will panic sell to recoup that saving cash so will be mayhem on the market!

i'll be waiting till 7th Teddy. Really wouldn't like to call the bottom on this one or i'd be WAM's best mate. Could go anywhere, i'm in no rush for this one, No FOMO here!

Monkshood, I think in Europe they are taking a far better approach to the C19 crisis. Yes the cases are rising but they are for the most part not having full lockdowns. Madrid is not locking down like we did. The economy is still functioning. Our silly government has really screwed up with their handling of this in so many ways!

i saw it coming Teddy, & i saw the same when the TERP shares originally traded. More manipulation again & so obvious to me. I posted as such on here but got heckled as a deramper. We both know where this share is going Teddy & in a few weeks we probably be back on here with a vengeance LOL

Teddy, pretty much the same. i'll look at an investing here again when it falls below 80p. Far cry from June isn't it? what a complete debacle!

If anything should affect this share, it should be the lockdowns in Madrid. This is NEX's second largest market after USA. The ALSA revenues are largely protected but still not the best news. The ridiculous thing is that it will be a statement about Easyjet which markets are more interested in. Bizarre nonsense!

i did it quite a lot on IAG but that one was routinely dropping 10p every day so made sense. i suppose when NEX goes a bit higher it might be worth taking the risk but not yet!

RI shares begin trading 7th October. that will be one very volatile day for this share!

Sanjeev, what is the good news? i'm intrigued. All the testing rumours etc isn't news, it's been spouted around for months & nothing ever done!

Neutronic, Mkt Cap is the share price X amount of issued shares. At the moment IAG's MC does not reflect the RI capital raise!

Sanjeev, posters on here have been allocated their request for additional shares, meaning it has not been fully taken up. I understand it was a union tact & it was a bit naughty that the BBC broke the story really but nonetheless it will have a big impact on airline stocks.
