Glad to hear from you on this v.quiet board and am intrigued by your figures. Cash on balance sheet June 2011 is 2,232RMB(or CNY) and shares total 1215m, therefore cash per share = 1.84RMB = 18.4p - agree with you. June 2011 EPS = 10.5RMB = £0.1 = 10p multiple of 2.5 - agreed. Haven't got predicted figures for June 2012 but take yours as read. Also agree cash pile increasing, but not sure about 'floor' reference. Now you lose me. Why 13.3p times 6 - is that a P/E of 6? Would be interested to hear your workings. Although you're new to LSE (2 posts) obviously you're no mug with figures. Been good to me so far this share and looking for even greater things.

Manus Island, as reported, also looks very promising and at an interesting stage. Do the board of TPJ have any knowledge why the shares should fall over 18% today? Biggest trade of the day £9,250, although saying that, the volume today was twice the average. But, no news(as usual) not much trading and the mm(s) take us way down. What is going on? ACHL after a few little hiccups seems solid enough and drifting upwards - nice. SGP never got down to our predicted lows so I never got back in and I see on 'FT' the shorters are on 'Low' on their index now. Their shops seem to be so quiet though whenever I see one - however, Hollister (Abercrombie&Fitch) in Cambridge, well busy. Know it? It's only listed in US though, so haven't gone for it. Thoughts?

Going nicely still, steady as she goes. Comparing HK v UK - both exchanges have ACHL down 35% for the last rolling 12 months. So, there's a lot of upside to get back to even.

HK up 1.33% UK down 1.17% but really little change or difference. sp does seem to be drifting lately, unfortunately with this stock I don't suppose there'll be constant news - as long as the oranges keep growing, should grow too.

Don't know anything about MES but it sure looks like WST are in takeover mood there. Any summary of MES( to save me doing the research) would be nice or further thoughts on any takeover. Paul Hill - MoneyWeek Gamble of the Week (should be Harry Hill - Lol) Good articlestating a lot of medical facts and figures supporting SBS's case. Finishes with : "Yet with it's main markets growing at 10% per year, it looks well placed to benefit from it's expertise in cancer and molecular diagnostics. Nplus1 Brewin has a price target of 12p. SPECULATIVE BUY at 7.25p" You can't get them for that price now!

163k shares repurchased on HK market on 1,405k total traded, so 11% of total volume. Compare this to 186k shares traded overall today on AIM. The HK shares are of very similar price equivalent and look as though they are more active over there. Saying that our AIM average vol is usually higher at 694k. Perhaps we take our lead from HK which is ahead by about 7 hours. I'll try to keep notice of how active HK is compared to AIM. Incidentally, HK is down 1.68% today, where we were flat.

@ 1700 looks like - should have waited till now to top up. If the FTSE comes back surely this share should.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing as I'm in WST. Also William Weston has 15% of WST. So, WST really have 15.4% + 7.1% = 22.5% of MES. So, what's going on. I got into WST about 8 weeks ago when Bruce Rowan, of much mining fame, got into WST big-time. On WST we feel it's a matter of time before Bruce declares a change of interest into mining. So, what's he doing over on MES? Post here or on WST to share your views. Regards.

Yeah in that RNS it shows AXA dumping about £200m worth of Weir. That's not going to help, nor are the shorters. Had a nasty spike down today but perhaps that was the final shake before rising.

Looks pretty good but as expected. One trade today for £3000 and sp down 3%. Stagnation temporarily, awaiting more contracts perhaps.

good day today, seems to have broken the past few days trend and ,as you say, slow and steady with a gradual increase in demand and the sp, will do us fine. RNS about Value Partners ('A Hong Kong based funds management firm specializing in Hong Kong/China equities') increasing their stake can't be bad. Lately, ACHL seem to be slowing down in their share purchase scheme which I personally don't like much anyway. Nice to see the sp holding nicely even without this.
