Thanks for all the info/chat, especially the conversation with tony shearer. Skiman was he concentrating on possible NEW projects or still hopeful of perhaps Manus Island with Newcrest? The only other possibility of a windfall seemed to be allowing someone to 'reverse' into us to take our listing and cash, but whether that was just someone's pipe-dream I'm not sure. From Aug 7th RNS - "TPJ has recently had consultations with Newcrest and its other partners in the Manus Island joint venture. Newcrest, TPJ and the partners are encouraged by the geological prospectivity in the Manus Island licences and have decided to carry out further surface and geophysical work on the exploration prospects for up to the next twelve months" PS Idid look in today as LSE said we're up 4%, but they've just got the figures wrong, it's a non-mover.

Looks good especially the bit about the dividends : 'Since listing on AIM the Company has pursued a progressive dividend policy and has paid out $3.8m in dividends. I'm involved with ACP Armadale - they've got an RNS but strangely it is titled Hambledon mining. There is also the SAME RNS out for Armadale for HMB - - weird ??

Well that would make sense but for some reason I've been thinking the opposite. They used to report finances in dollars and recently changed to Rupees. I remember one set of accounts where the strengthening dollar did disrupt the figures badly so I presumed a strengthening dollar was bad. However, as you say, surely most of the expenses(e.g. wages) are in Rupees and most of the income is international and the Rupee has dropped more than everything hasn't it? Perhaps this is a great benefit, certainly the sp is getting back to my lofty levels. GL

Strange, the rupee is crumbling against the dollar but we're on the move up. Like it but don't understand it. Anyone care to enlighten me if it's anything other than a bounce back on no news? Maybe it's the AGM on Friday 6th?

Like the analogy with Dick Turpin and yes don't think they'll be back here too soon. Nearly followed Oil Magnate(riches) on to PREM. Unbelievable. He (Dick) and his followers pump £50k or more into any lame stock, catch the mm's unawares, and low and behold the stock booms. Then they're off again with their booty. I thought they'd come unstuck today after 161% rise on PREM and them getting suspended. Then they release, coincidentally, a good RNS and it takes off more. YCNMIU Anyway, I managed to sell half my holding @ 0.6p which I was happy with. Strange although we did lose a lot of the gain back today, this share is still bobbing about. July 26 it traded at it's low of 0.2p so it's come back a lot from there. I'll probably sell another 30,000 or so if I get another chance over 0.58p or so. I'm taking a big hit, don't get me wrong, but feel the prospects are not strong. GL All who remain.

Apparently Oil Magnate made £40k today (uncorroborated). Reckon he ought to give some to me for keeping this share board going for the last 2 years - lol. This share has been getting some attention of late though for fairly spurious reasons IMO. The best chance for the share is a reverse takeover for our cash and listing. We've been looking for gold in Papua New Guinea for years with lots of Big Boy JVs to no avail. Not too hopeful that today's sudden rise is sustainable and the spread is often very unhelpful. On the other hand, glad to get a few more folk on board and long may she sail.
