Well I haven't really had 'discussions' just simple emails. I've posted all their words to me.
All we can say is they're on it. They certainly intended it to be Tuesday 6pm as the date/time point for qualification. Whether they have not got it right with the stock exchange authorities, we wait and see
If it's any consolation, if this whole thing does turn out a farce and the date is moved to Wednesday, you would not have got the price you sold at Wed morning on Thurs morning.
Elsewhere, the CGT advice/calculation RNS issued yesterday will be totally wrong if the date is changed too.
We await Russell and the Stock Exchange (or maybe just HL) to come up with the final judgement
Dave also confirmed the qualification point was 6 pm Tue 19th and said we don't report to Hargreaves and an RNS this morning.
Whether Dave and Russell are 100% correct and there has not been a big ****-up, we wait and see as I would have thought the London Stock Exchange will have the final say
Also emailed Russell with :
Am I not right in thinking the qualification for CAI shares is to those who held KRS at 6pm on Tue Nov 19th ? If one sold some KRS on Wed Nov 20th you have not lost any entitlement?
He came back with a one word reply : CORRECT
RNS on 20th Nov sated : 'Eligible shareholders will be entitled to receive 1 Calidus Share for every 3.451963 New Ordinary Shares registered in their name on the record date, which has been confirmed to be 6.00 pm on 19 November 2019. '
Crystal clear to me, holders on the record date at 6pm Tue Nov 19th. If anyone, like me, sold on Nov 20, they can't go back and say you weren't the holder on Nov 19 -plain daft
Firstly the value of Calidus shares given for each KRS share doesnāt seem right and therefore I think the calcs are wrong.
Secondly, donāt suppose it bothers many if you held in your Isa or Sipp or it doesnāt lead to gains over oneās annual allowance.
Definitely worth checking out Markyess posts from around 6/11/19 and @JMHDeakin on Twitter who writes Cube.Investments @cubeinvests. Joel Deakin was also at the presentation evening.
Just to add Keras has a very simple business plan and will be starting to make money next quarter, the very low Mn price permitting. This price seen as very temp and the BFS should be released soon when permit fully released and Togo govt allow Scoping study also starting for the potential to produce manganese sulphate for the battery and fertiliser industries. Production of 6,500 tons per month set to quickly rise through the year to 17,200 tpm.
All good, expect the sp to pick up again towards year end when full license paperwork complete. Wet season then may delay us a little before making money in Q1 2020
Think I can now see most of yours, nearly all done by about 8:03 ?
As I said earlier I got 110k away @0.416 and later 200k at 0.32p. The mm's were asleep it seems for a few minutes at 8 am, thought they would have dropped it a lot more on opening.
Personally I've now done ok but was well down before today's 45% increase in value. Blue skies here and down under soon but I would personally think we'd be lucky to hold 0.3p today or this week
Bassguy, my calcs based on 1m KRS before and after :
Before 1m KRS @ 0.475p = Ā£4750
After 1m KRS @ 0.34p = Ā£3400 PLUS 289,690 CAI @ 0.23c = AUD $6663 = Ā£3515
So, After = Ā£3400 + Ā£3515 = Ā£6915 = increase of Ā£2165 over Before
Percentage increase = 2165 x100 / 4750 = 45.6%
----------------------------------------------
If I'm right your 66% increase was slightly OTT and we've actually managed 45.6%
