I was not aware we were moving beyond our core PCR and NGS technologies.
"Only wishing to focus on PCR tests etc." ????
I am confused ... Clarigene IS a PCR test ???
"However if like me you have a propensity for buying Yourgene shares, I suggest you do not watch."
I've developed a total immunity to this terrible affliction ... I've now run out of money ... LOL
Depends if they are getting the orders in to sell their existing capacity to existing lab customers, which he said was 500k tests. If the orders haven't come in to sell those, then any production collaboration seems a moot point.
I stand corrected, but still long term as opposed to short term plans ...
"The staff will start getting demotivated especially if they’re working long hours and weekends..."
Doubt it Col ... From memory, employee share plans are normally associated with a 3 to 5 year savings plan with the option at the end of the term to purchase shares at a "option" price which will have been fixed.
So it is effectively a risk free savings scheme (ie get your savings back if the shares fall below the option price) with the possibility of making some life changing amounts. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people are not very financially astute and from experience few people will have opted in for significant £amounts.
"Workplace resting is what we all try to do ..."
I remember the fake spreadsheet screen ... LOL
We shall have to disagree on what "increase shareholder value" means, and in my view it is not by pumping the share price.
In my eyes, the development and launch of IONA NX adds shareholder value by tripling the companies NIPT market size from 30% to 90% of NGS platforms worldwide, albeit this value (in the eyes of some) is not recognised by the share price.
The contract award from St Georges can only have strengthened our position from a marketing perspective.
In my view, the investment case has moved forwards irrespective of what the share price does. I topped up last week.
"The management aren't bothered at the present moment whether the price is in the 20's or 30's."
Whether you like it or not, it isn't the company's job to pump the share price. You have to decide for yourself what value you attribute to the company and either hold or sell.
The company's job is to get on with business and my view (based on released RNSs) is to hold tight and, as far as funds allow, top up if possible ...
Bloody good job that we have a growing business beyond covid then innit ... ROFLMAO
If they have "limited" capacity, both for processing the tests and manufacture of tests for international market, because they do not want to add any risk to the core business ... then it makes sense for them to concentrate on markets that provide the maximum margins ...
"However if I had doubled down on my investment in ODX instead of here, I would have been around £80k better off."
But you didn't ... and if I had gone all in on NCYT I would be nearly £4m better off but life sucks ... LOL.
Accept your decisions and stop living in fantasy land.
Here's hoping it all ends up well for you praty1 ...
"Streaming will also capture all the infants and mothers where cinemas couldn't. I think Disney's shares will go through the roof."
Pretty sure they have special infant and mother sessions ...
Looking at the delegates list, hopefully a few of them will be convinced of the benefits and sign up for the service ...
Think you can sleep soundly Filmster ... 1:100 share consolidation in 2014 ... LOL
I am sure there are LOTS of us who are wishing that " 200,000 shares = approx £ 1.5 million" ... LOL
Potential is a bit like £revenue. Doesn't matter how much there is, if you keep losing money nothing else matters ...
