So are you saying that the drillers don't see this as an investment if they are selling their shares? That flies in the face of what NvS was saying.
The "market / SP is where it is because it reflects where the company is at this moment. For me that is exactly what the interview highlighted. In a nutshell, a lot of unknowns ie :-
- size of the deposit . Huge amount to do to get any positive reaction. As Matthew said, (paraphrasing obv) very little to hang your hat on at the moment including the Anglo Am ranking stuff, NDAs with big players (par for the course), talk of it being a takeover target, bloody ell, what isn't?
- uncertainty around the sale of the gold assets, will the stage payments be met? I may be wrong but what happens if the purchasers don't do any / much further work? This sounds a bit lap of the Gods stuff.
- A definite requirement to raise money, issue shares, bit of processing (maybe). Great that we have got a little dosh in (assuming it is in the bag) from the sale of Casa / Sturec as NVS said, "Good not great"
Etc etc....

Having said all that, I really am not anti the company it's just that where it is seems right to me at the moment.
IMHO.

This is the first interview / conference call I've seen / heard where some far better in-depth examination has been conducted, quite refreshing when compared to something like Proactive Inv, where it looks like the questions asked were prepared by NvS.

I think he said something along the lines of, - Zero or 10 or 20 bagger.....

the point being , you cannot expect a company CEO or anyone for that matter to talk down an asset they are trying to flog.

It's the poor folk who get over excited listening / believing some of the utter cobblers spouted on here....

a bad deal because of the expectations that were set....
