True MrsRobinson. In the same vein what happens if EIT don’t convert their 5.7% of Mkango Polska into Mkango shares? How will that work? Still more questions than answers, hopefully they will announce something soon.

I agree Joe, it will be set up similar to Mkango Polska with EIT and the Malawian government’s 10% stake will be in the mine operation only.

Just read his post from earlier today, it’s not saying anything that we don’t already know apart from the fact that he’s “taken a decent chunk” in the current fund raise. The post is super positive and hopefully this will entice many of his followers to take the plunge as well to invest in MKA.

I guess everyone is waiting for the next announcement on funding, people are fearful of a heavily discounted placing like the last time. If instead we generate revenue, receive a grant or some other non-dilutive funding then the sp will start to re-rate immediately imho. Hopefully some positive vibes on this from the Q&A will help to quell our concerns.

They must have been selling since April, walking the share price down to the subscription price. They are not completely out but hopefully they don’t have enough shares left to have a great influence on the current price. Hopefully now we can move to a more realistic price to reflect the current situation of the company.

Taken from the initial announcement “Regarding the Songwe Project, it will create over 1200 jobs during the 2-year construction period and 500 jobs per annum during the 18-year mine life, as well as indirect jobs. The anticipated annual revenue is $120.6 million in the form of royalties, dividends, and other taxes.”

Not seen any posts talking about the prospect of dividends. Wonder what has been promised to the Malawian Govt?

“In the two agreements, the government will own 15 percent stake in Lotus Resources Limited, the successor of Paladin Energy Limited and 10 percent shareholding in Lancaster Exploration Limited, a subsidiary of Mkango Resources Limited.”

Seems like we were able to negotiate the best deal out of the two. The 5% saving is substantial.

Well it’s the highest price recorded today (apart from a couple of piddling buys at 5.9p). Suppose it could be from another day or days but I think not.

Went from BOOM to BOO on Monday. Hopefully (someday soon) we’ll manage to keep hold of the ‘M’ .

I tend to agree GLR1990, in the end it may be more lucrative to do it ourselves or in a joint venture but a lot more riskier. You only have to look at what happened to HZM as an example.

We don’t know yet nothing has been released, but be sure they will have one (or more) plans. After all they’ve had plenty of time to think about it.
