Absolute no-no. They have already made huge cuts to staff headcount via attrition and also a small amount of redundancies.

Also fuel excluded from trading updates as it would cause wild fluctuations in LFL numbers and cause a lack of clarity on true trading position.

I presume going off reports today it's market speak for taking a hit on margin for 1H trying to keep prices down and funding promotions.

Historically fuel has had very little value to tsco re profit but cannot speak for this time out. I can't see how they could hammer tsco with a tax on profits from this yet not lay a glove on the oil majors for making the kind of profits that makes tsco look like small beer in comparison.

Maidit no not all sells a buy I put through late on today has flagged as sell.

I do wonder how many of these experts in the politics and militaries of the former Soviet bloc also happened to be world-leading experts in epidemiology and immunology just a short couple of years ago. It's remarkable how quickly they develop a deep and detailed understanding of the global matters at hand.

We do seem to be finally heading in the right direction, albeit there is some way to go yet.

Furion the difference is a lot of Ukrainian men signed up voluntarily whereas there has been a rush to the exits by a lot of the Russians.

It would benefit everyone if a tactical withdrawal was made asap, however they are going to have to have something to take from it to save face, both domestically and abroad, and Ukraine and its allies aren't yet prepared to accept any loss of land, so it may rumble on for a while yet.

The problem a lot of PIs have, and how they get drawn into losing money on AIM shares is because of a heady combination of greed and naivety. They want or expect every share to ten bag overnight rather than pouching 10/20/30% gains when they present themselves.

Does the odd share multibag overnight? Absolutley and fill the boots when it happens, but don't expect every share to do this and know when to get out if a share does spike. A lesson I learned a long time back with AMC when it spiked to 44p and I got greedy expecting more and left with only a very modest gain after it subsequently collapsed again.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of either candidate but whoever wins has been handed an absolute turkey and will be unelectable come the next GE irrespective of what they do. Too many factors affecting the country at a global level that the PM will have little to no influence over.

Too good an opportunity to miss? Time will tell I guess.

88e is historically a good buy at this time of year, for a medium-term hold just make sure you sell *before* drill results early next year.
