What would I pay? I guess as a large miner, I would be guided by the PFS and how extractable the stuff in the ground is... but knowing the direction of copper prices of the next 10 /20 years I’m sure they could find what it’s actually worth at projected NPV.. Hi your right, they will be wanting to pay substantially less.... which I guess is where the potential for other bidders would hopefully prevent any low ball offers.

60-70p would seem fair, if it’s an economically viable asset...

I guess it’s just my current frustrations with NM and the boards performance That would see me currently happy to exit at 50p

£2 is ambitious I think.... right now I’d be happy to bail around 50p

Hoping when an appoint is made, and a statement released from the new CEO, it gives a strong signal of a change of direction.

Does anyone with a solid corporate background have any idea when the new CEO would be announced? surely it would have to be well before Mather leaves the post... as any potential 'top quality' new CEO would have to have a notice period to serve. (and that would not be short)

i am hoping an announcement re this topic is made soon and we can see a lift in the price... anyone with a history of happily Joint Venturing projects or asset sales would surely see this back in to the mid 30s pretty quick?

also my logic tells me the longer the wait for this news, the more likely we see an internal promotion?

ive mentioned before, my background is not corporate, so if anyone with a better understanding than me, that can offer some insight here would be appreciated.

My first thoughts were cash was ok... but now this has me unsure... as worst case scenario is based on A financial markets meltdown and complete shut down in costly operations

agreed cash is not the issue..... the issue to me is the disappointing news regarding Blanca and La Hueca... that in itself woulod be RNS worthy alone... to me is a bit like burying bad news. not a deramp, just an opinion.

believe me i'm not a deramper... i have a significant holding here... but at a first quick read, this is very disappointing..

agreed Softrock. Keith is having to quell the rhetoric and bluster and prepare for a more grounded next 12 months... the board must have known this for weeks/months even. they could not continue to pretend everything was fine and rosy at cascabel. he has put the facts out there to prepare for the next 12 months... lose the bluster and obfuscation of many recent statements , take the hit, and move forward, hopefully in a more clear reasoned manor......

but that 'If' is a huge concern.... 'If' it turns out we can make it economically viable by discovering other copper closer to the surface?? then we will make a development decision? if?

the copper isnt going anywhere
