Hats off to CGP though… they have gone from minor bit part player, to running the show … and they have done it easily… fair play.

I think everyone knows an end to the ‘current’ Solg story is being engineered. How long it takes, what format and how successful it is carried out is what will decide if we those positions filling…

Solg is in danger of becoming like the ugly girl left in the disco at the end of the night… desperately flashing a bit of leg to try to get some interest from whoever is left.

I agree Sharket. It does not come as a surprise that the studies we were all waiting for have been delayed.. it’s what Solgold do. I posted a few days ago that the PFS could be delayed, and how in my opinion it would be because it has failed to find the lift in project value it had promised… This is not a positive RNS at all.

I am now expecting the PFS to be shelved until next year… just my opinion

I have emailed twice over the last 2 weeks, and have received no reply.

This is not typical for Fawzi… he of often late by a day or 2 in replying, but usually does reply.

Don’t underestimate our boards inability to close the deal.

Morning back…. I guess whichever way one chooses to view it, it should lead to a monetising event of some form, not just a continuation of the status quo..

yet the markets are simply not interested or still don’t believe what our board say.

There is absolutely none! Zero interest..

I struggle to understand why given we have announced the strategic review..

I didn’t say highly unlikely to find anything else of value, I just accept the realities.. Tier ones, are so highly sought after for a reason… and that is because they are so rare.. and difficult to find.

You can’t prescribe yourself value to something you haven’t found yet..

until we prove up another discovery in our tenements, we don’t have one… we are currently an exploration company that has done ‘no regional drilling since January’… Fawzi’s words not mine.

Many of the valuations or price expectations that are regularly posted on here are either blatant ramps or just delusional dreams, based on nothing other than it will make the poster a nice round sum. They always ignore the mining jurisdiction risks and the large increase in the number of shares over the last 4-5 years.

It’s usually the same posters that claim we probably have multiple more tier ones in our tenements… based on absolutely nothing but blind hope.

There is a reason the markets and analysts attach barely any value to the rest of our portfolio.. and that’s the odds of finding another of truly tier 1 scale discovery, are enormous.. yes, we have some value, in that we own the rights to explore such a large portfolio of tenements, but until we restart exploration, and have drill assays from them, in reality, they are just plots of jungle and farmland.. Nothing more.

The suggestions that our share price will soar over £1 or even get close, based on a sale or JV in the near future, is just head in the clouds stuff.. of course I’d like that to happen, but it won’t.. I would rather sell my entire holding soon, if we can structure any deal that sees our share price rise, closer to, or even over 50p, than wait another 6-7 years hoping that it may eventually see somewhere near £1..

Our current board have achieved no increase in shareholder value over the last 4-5 years, and I cannot see them suddenly finding the competency required to do so over the next 4-5..

Just my opinion.

Apart from Mather, none of those people are on our board… how has Solgold got in such a position, that it seems we are all hoping, or expecting outsiders will finally move us forward.. The longer it goes without CGP announcing their vote, the more I will doubt our boards ability to close the deal

I think Solg need to just forget about BHP.. they are focused elsewhere… our management have sat around waiting for BHP to move on us long enough… more than long enough..

I though AGM resolutions would have been this morning.

I am not so utterly convinced BHP see Solg as any kind of priority. They have not shown much of any rush to buy Solg, or even JV Cascabel over the last few years.
Despite many people here predicting it constantly for years, BHP have moved on companies elsewhere over that time.

It’s long overdue that Solg move on, away from BHP. Just a shame it’s taken Cornerstone people to get a grip of the situation and move it forward.

There must be a raft of news to come in over the next few weeks, in the run up to AGM, that can at least get us to a barely respectable mid 20s share price.
